Erik has said on RHAP that he used to cross the boundary of their designated zone to go to local tribes and find food. I distinctly remember him saying that if he saw a fruit tree he would "hop fences" to get to it. Doesn't seem too far fetched that this would extend to a production camp as well.

I'm still on the fence over whether Kel actually had beef jerky. If they caught him with beef jerky at customs, I doubt he could've gotten some snuck into the game after that. I think this is still a mystery unfortunately

Kel really did have beef jerky only marilyn said that he was innocent every one else on the cast even I believe probst said that he had it. Kel was stopped at customs for it too on the way to Australia. That is not why Kel was voted out though Jerri said he was done way before that in an interview she said Kel was barking orders at people on the initial hike to camp. He was also an outsider too & did not fit in with the tribe.

He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

What I have NEVER understood is why so few players train in actual survival skills before leaving for the show. They should be able to do primitive fire and foraging for local wild foods at the very least. It’s not like they don’t know where they’re going way ahead of time.

Richard Hatch mentioned in an interview on the Dom and Colin podcast that he caught production giving food to Sue Hawk and Kelly Wigglesworth. He threatened to shut down the show. That's all he was willing to divulge about the situation, but it makes sense. On the best of Survivor DVD there was a deleted scene where contestants received a scale and a mirror and could weigh themselves towards the end of the season. The only players to not lose any weight(or very minimal) were Kelly and Sue.

When I saw the title, my thought was, There’s a big difference between smuggling food in from the outside, a premeditated action planned in the comfort of home, not yet suffering from deprivation but already having no intention of following rules by which you’d agreed to be bound of your own free will; and stealing food, when you haven’t had a decent meal in weeks and people who haven’t missed meals in weeks are careless enough to leave food lying around. The latter is pretty much a textbook example of a situation where normal rules of what’s morally acceptable no longer apply. But! The heists described here are . . . not that. Yeah, I’d call them thieves too.

So I work on boats in Hawaii. And I worked with a guy Douglas Valenzuela, who is a boat operator for survivor from season six through 28 And he said they found James sharing a sandwich with a production crewmember at some point during survivor Micronesia. not sure if it’s related but always thought it was a funny story

I don't understand why survivor use the word "Jaburu" as the name of the women's tribe. It's a word to describe an ugly, very ugly women. It's used only for women. They were here in Brazil. It's impossible that nobody told them that it would be kind of disrespectful to use this word as a name. Timbaqui is a fish and Jaburu is also the name of a animal, but they could have use something that was not a "slam" in the native language.

I always love the Candice/heroes tribe joke but honestly if you focus on her in Cook Islands, she’s more heroic than Ozzy and sometimes even Yul. Also funny enough she was most heroic woman on the Heroes Cirie, Stephanie, Sugar, and Amanda all had way bigger villainous moments in my opinion

The whole division between the two felt incredibly forced. I think all ten heroes have at least some moments that look downright evil in their previous appearances even despite the editors' attempts to show them in the best light possible, but in addition to Candice, I also have to ask, who exactly thought Sugar was a hero? On the other side, Parvati is a villain for doing the exact same thing that Cirie and Amand did, Danielle is a villain for having an annoying accent, Coach for having honor and integrity, Randy for being just an unpleasant grouch, Courtney and Tyson for cracking wise for the camera.
