There are few points regarding the academia of Surya Putra Karna.Guru Dronocharya gave him the that form of education which he gave to the Pandava and the Kauravas, but only the teaching of using the celestial weapon was not taught by Guru Dronacharya to Karna....That knowlege was provided to him by Maharishi Guru Parsuram.

@@siddarth3955 Siddharthji you must be knowing that the name Karna was named by his foster parents as Radheya ..when Guru Dronacharya saw him for the first time ...Guru Dronacharya gave him the name of Karna, because he sensed a divine power of Lord Surya in him, but since Guru Dronacharya was a celestial guru and could sense the happening of future and even the role of Karna in future, therefore he somehow prohibited to give the celestial weapon to Karna. Lord Krishna said to Arjun"yeh pandavo ki vijay nahi hai,yeh DHARMA ki vijay hai".

His father Nandana Adhiratha descended from Yayati and therefore was related to Krishna. He was also the descendant of Rompad, the king of Angdesh and brother-in-law of Maharaja Dashratha's descendant Shighra, king of Ayodhya. His real name was Vasusena and was called "Karna" due to his permanently attached Golden Ear Ring which he had from birth (surya's gift). He was called Radheya because back then men were known by their mothers name, and not their fathers. Hence Krishna was called Devaki Nandan, Bishma was called Ganga Putra, Arjun was called kaunteya.

WRONG. Karan was UNABLE to draw the String of the Bow kept in Draupadi's Swayamwar. He FAILED in his attempt. AFTER this Draupadi says she will not marry a Suta (which being a swaymvar is her right to decide) and Suta were not of a lower caste to begin with. Also Bhishma wasn't killed by Arjun alone, when Sikhandi came and Bhishma lowered the weapons Arjun obliterated him and also destroyed his chariot. इसलिए गुरुदेव का यह नियम बना रखा था की छत्रिय राजकुमारों को वह ज्ञान नहीं देंगे और पहले जो अस्त्र-शस्त्र होते थे वह मंत्रों से ही चलते थे जैसे ही एक तीर पर मंत्र मार दिया तो समझ लीजिए कि वह मंत्र लाख गुना पावरफुल हो जाता था और सामने वाला कितना भी बड़ा ताकतवर होता था उसका भी प्राण ले लेते थे ऐसे ऐसे मंत्र से गुरु के पास और पहले मंत्रों से ही लड़ाई लड़ी जाती थी आज जो बारूद की लड़ाई हो रही है तो टैंक मिसाइल जहाज परमाणु हथियार यह सारे के सारे पहले भी थी मगर फर्क यह था कि पहले खाली मंत्रों से सिद्ध किए हुए हथियार होते थे आपने कितने मंत्र सिद्ध किए हैं उसी हिसाब से ही आप बाण चला सकते थे और दूसरा कर्ण को श्राप था एक ब्राह्मण का कवि और कर्ण वन में शिकार खेल रहे थे और तीर चला रहे थे उसी जंगल में एक गाय चर रही थी और वह गाय अचानक बीच में आ गई और तीर लगने से गाय मर गई उस गाय का जो मालिक था वह ब्राह्मण थे उन्होंने श्राप दिया कि जब तेरी मौत नजदीक आएगी जिस गाय माता को मारा है तो यही धरती माता तेरे रथ के पहिए को पकड़ लेगी और तुम कुछ नहीं कर करवाएगा आखिरी जिस टाइम करण की मौत आई उस टाइम यही हुआ जमीन फट गई और कर्ण का रथ है वह जमीन में धंस गया और जब मौत आई उस टाइम जो गुरु का श्राप था कि जितना भी मैंने तेरे को ज्ञान दिया है आखिरी समय में यह सारा ज्ञान भूलजाएगा वह बात भी बिल्कुल सच में अर्जुन और कर्ण का युद्ध हुआ तो जिस टाइम जमीन है और कर्ण के रथ को पकड़ लिया था उस टाइम गुरु के श्राप से सारा ज्ञान भी भूल गए थे ताकि अस्त्र-शस्त्र कोई प्रगट ही नहीं हो रहा था अब शास्त्र प्रकट नहीं होगा तो उस चलाएगा क्या फिर भगवान श्री कृष्ण ने अर्जुन को कहा कि है अर्जुन अभी यह फंसा हुआ है अभी इसको मार अब अगर तुम नहीं मार सका तो फिर यह करण तेरे से नहीं मारा जाएगा इसलिए जब यह रथ के पहिए को निकालने में लग जाए उस टाइम इस पर तीर चलाकर खत्म करना नहीं तो तेरी मौत निश्चित है अर्जुन तुझे कोई नहीं बचा सकेगा खुद मैं भी तुझे नहीं बचा पाऊंगा इसलिए करण बहुत ही दानी भी थे और लड़ाई में बहुत ही बड़े महावीर के कारण जैसे वीर इस धरती लक्मे सालों से पैदा होते हैं और करण भगवान सूर्य के पुत्र थे और कुंती के गर्भ से कुंवारी कुंती से पैदा हुए थे कौन सी बच्ची थी और उसने भगवान सूर्य के मंत्रों का कुछ जाप करना शुरू किया तो भगवान सूर्य उनके सामने आकर के प्रगट हो गए और बोले बोल क्या चाहिए कुंती बोली भगवान मेरे को कुछ नहीं चाहिए तब सूर्यदेव ने कहा नहीं ऐसा नहीं हो सकता मेरे दर्शन जब होते हैं तो खाली नहीं जाते हैं मैं तेरी इच्छा पूरी करूंगा तेरे मन में विचार था कि भगवान सूर्य जैसा अगर मेरे पुत्र हो जाए तो क्या कहनासूर्यदेव ने कहा मैं तेरी वह इच्छा पूरी करूंगा और जब तक तेरी शादी नहीं होगी तब तक तुम हमारी भी रहेगी और बच्चा भी पैदा करेगी और दुनिया में किसी को पता भी नहीं लगेगा जब तक तुम तेरे मुंह से नहीं कहेगी तब तक दुनिया में किसी को भी पता नहीं लगेगा कि यह भगवान सूर्य का पुत्र है या कुंवारी माता का पुत्र है जय श्री राम और यही हुआ किसी को भी पता नहीं चला कि यह पुत्र किसका है और उस पुत्र ने भगवान श्रीकृष्ण से मुकाबला किया था जो भगवान तीनों लोगों को धारण करते हैं आकाश पाताल और पृथ्वी तीनों के जीवो का पालन करने वाले भगवान से युद्ध किया

He was deliberately shown a low-caste man to reflect the social order of that time. But this is also a fact that there were many Hindu kingdoms which had kings belonging to the so-called low-castes. Even about King Dahir of Sindh, the Hindu king who defeated the Arab plunderer Md bin Qasim several times before falling to treachery, it is said that either he was Kshatriya or a Shudra. If you live in Karachi or you are a true-breed Sindhi, then your real ancestor was King Dahir, not that plunderer and godless fellow Qasim.

That's wrong... Duryodhana had ordered for vastraharan,not Karna,,ok....Pandavas used Draupadi like object in dice that was the mistake of Pandavas,not Karna...The only mistake of Karna was abusing Draupadi...Ravana was not good person,he did not respect ladies,but if you will read Bori,you will find that how much she respect his mother, Duryodhana's mother and Kunti before knowing that she is her mother...Many scripture also tells that how Karna respects his wife....

मुझे लगता है महाभारत एक पूर्ण न्यायशास्त्र है, और चीर-हरण उसका केन्द्रबिन्दु! इस प्रसङ्ग के बाद की पूरी कथा इस घिनौने अपराध के अपराधियों को मिले दण्ड की कथा है। वह दण्ड, जिसे निर्धारित किया भगवान श्रीकृष्ण ने और किसी को नहीं छोड़ा... किसी को भी नहीं। दुर्योधन ने उस अबला स्त्री को दिखा कर अपनी जंघा ठोकी थी, तो उसकी जंघा तोड़ी गयी। दुशासन ने छाती ठोकी तो उसकी छाती फाड़ दी गयी। महारथी कर्ण ने एक असहाय स्त्री के अपमान का समर्थन किया, तो श्रीकृष्ण ने असहाय दशा में ही उसका वध कराया। भीष्म ने यदि प्रतिज्ञा में बंध कर एक स्त्री के अपमान को देखने और सहन करने का पाप किया, तो असँख्य तीरों में बिंध कर अपने पूरे कुल को एक-एक कर मरते हुए भी देखे... भारत का कोई बुजुर्ग अपने सामने अपने बच्चों को मरते देखना नहीं चाहता, पर भीष्म अपने सामने चार पीढ़ियों को मरते देखते रहे। जबतक सब देख नहीं लिया, तबतक मर भी न सके... यही उनका दण्ड था। धृतराष्ट्र का दोष था पुत्रमोह, तो सौ पुत्रों के शव को कंधा देने का दण्ड मिला उन्हें। सौ हाथियों के बराबर बल वाला धृतराष्ट्र सिवाय रोने के और कुछ नहीं कर सका। दण्ड केवल कौरव दल को ही नहीं मिला था। दण्ड पांडवों को भी मिला। द्रौपदी ने वरमाला अर्जुन के गले में डाली थी, सो उनकी रक्षा का दायित्व सबसे अधिक अर्जुन पर था। अर्जुन यदि चुपचाप उनका अपमान देखते रहे, तो सबसे कठोर दण्ड भी उन्ही को मिला। अर्जुन पितामह भीष्म को सबसे अधिक प्रेम करते थे, तो कृष्ण ने उन्ही के हाथों पितामह को निर्मम मृत्यु दिलाई। अर्जुन रोते रहे, पर तीर चलाते रहे... क्या लगता है, अपने ही हाथों अपने अभिभावकों, भाइयों की हत्या करने की ग्लानि से अर्जुन कभी मुक्त हुए होंगे क्या? नहीं... वे जीवन भर तड़पे होंगे। यही उनका दण्ड था। युधिष्ठिर ने स्त्री को दाव पर लगाया, तो उन्हें भी दण्ड मिला। कठिन से कठिन परिस्थितियों में भी सत्य और धर्म का साथ नहीं छोड़ने वाले युधिष्ठिर ने युद्धभूमि में झूठ बोला, और उसी झूठ के कारण उनके गुरु की हत्या हुई। यह एक झूठ उनके सारे सत्यों पर भारी रहा... धर्मराज के लिए इससे बड़ा दण्ड क्या होगा? दुर्योधन को गदायुद्ध सिखाया था स्वयं बलराम ने। एक अधर्मी को गदायुद्ध की शिक्षा देने का दण्ड बलराम को भी मिला। उनके सामने उनके प्रिय दुर्योधन का वध हुआ और वे चाह कर भी कुछ न कर सके... उस युग में दो योद्धा ऐसे थे जो अकेले सबको दण्ड दे सकते थे, कृष्ण और बर्बरीक। पर कृष्ण ने ऐसे कुकर्मियों के विरुद्ध शस्त्र उठाने तक से इनकार कर दिया, और बर्बरीक को युद्ध मे उतरने से ही रोक दिया। लोग पूछते हैं कि बर्बरीक का वध क्यों हुआ? यदि बर्बरीक का बध नहीं हुआ होता तो द्रौपदी के अपराधियों को यथोचित दण्ड नहीं मिल पाता। कृष्ण युद्धभूमि में विजय और पराजय तय करने के लिए नहीं उतरे थे, कृष्ण कृष्णा के अपराधियों को दण्ड दिलाने उतरे थे। कुछ लोगों ने कर्ण का बड़ा महिमामण्डन किया है। पर सुनिए! कर्ण कितना भी बड़ा योद्धा क्यों न रहा हो, कितना भी बड़ा दानी क्यों न रहा हो, एक स्त्री के वस्त्र-हरण में सहयोग का पाप इतना बड़ा है कि उसके समक्ष सारे पुण्य छोटे पड़ जाएंगे। द्रौपदी के अपमान में किये गए सहयोग ने यह सिद्ध कर दिया कि वह महानीच व्यक्ति था, और उसका वध ही धर्म था। स्त्री कोई वस्तु नहीं कि उसे दाव पर लगाया जाय। कृष्ण के युग में दो स्त्रियों को बाल से पकड़ कर घसीटा गया। देवकी का बाल पकड़ा कंस ने, और द्रौपदी का बाल पकड़ा दुशासन ने। श्रीकृष्ण ने स्वयं दोनों के अपराधियों का समूल नाश किया। किसी स्त्री के अपमान का दण्ड अपराधी के समूल नाश से ही पूरा होता है, भले वह अपराधी विश्व का सबसे शक्तिशाली व्यक्ति ही क्यों न हो... यही न्याय है, यही धर्म है। और इस धर्म को स्थापित करने वाला भारत है, सनातन है... जय हो...

No doubt Karna is very talented and powerful person but he stood with Kauravas. Krishna always try to teach everyone that dharma is more important than friendship, physical and mental relationships. Arjun is great because not only he is talented and best Archer, but also he is very dedicated and always questions himself whether he is doing right or wrong. That's why Arjun is better than other characters in Mahabharat and that's why Lord Shri Krishna always supported him because he believes in Arjun. I like both Karna and Arjun because they teach so much to us about how to live, what kind of decisions should we make, how to achieve our goals and how to help someone. #Mahabharat

For me no one is good in Mahabharat except lord Krishna, eklavya and Ghatotkach. Kunti has left her son to die because of pride. Yudhishthir gamble his wife. Arjun was proudy. Even though he got all kind of knowledge, he can't able to beat Vism, Dhron, and Karna fairly, it is true that he can't use distructive weapons, but barbaric has weapon which is not distructive but could end the war in an hour. Even though Karna's life was unfortunate but Lord Krishna's life was much more worst than Karna, and karna was opportunist he didn't curve his own path but always thrive for opportunities, with that much of power and talent he could have worked for better future of the people but he didn't.
