Dr. Abulhawa is a Palestinian-American activist and writer, who in her novels and lectures, analyses the geopolitical and social situation in the Middle East and the impact that Middle Eastern issues have on forced migration to the West.
As part of the EU Interreg IT-AT Eumint Project a Q&A presented by Susan Abulhawa took place online on June 17th, 2020 from 15:30-17:30.
She presented the Palestinian past and present social situation as highlighted in her book “Mornings in Jenin”. The lecture also provided insight to implications of being female in this region.
