Today Show correspondent Amy Robach has an "Exclusive Interview" with Susan on the Today show from her hometown in Blackburn, Scotland! Susan discusses her life, love, music, and her top three goals.
We get glimpses of Susan's new Posh House juxtaposed with her familiar council house that she still lives in, her local shops, her playing her baby grand piano, and the Donny Osmond (AKA He-Man) cuddle blanket.
More importantly, Susan discusses the importance her mother (parents) still holds in her life, her growing confidence, and that she still maintains her humbleness and normalcy.
Susan says her top three achievable goals are: "to keep going, to keep getting better at what she's doing, and to make people happy."
Her success so far has garnered her over 15 million albums sold worldwide since her very successful debut album, I Dreamed A Dream in 2009. Susan will be releasing her 3rd album, "Someone To Watch Over Me," November 1, 2011 in the U.S.
Susan will also be back on the Today Show to sing a song from her new album, "Someone To Watch Over Me," LIVE on November 2, 2011.

God, she is amazing-I absolutely love her and would consider it such a privilege if I got to meet and talk to her. So sweet, funny and above all, humble. I wanted to slap the fake obnoxious lady interviewing her-GUESS WHAT there's more to life than relationships and dating!! Not everyone is materialistic and requires a big fancy-pants house. Fake people don't know how to interact with real people, esp. when they don't get what they want out of them. Susan, keep doing you-we love you for it!

Prior to that, she was unfairly labeled as “brained damaged” and other dumb labels to put her down. Now, come 52 yrs later, Susan has found the truth to her struggles in life, and now with evidence of her above average intelligence, she hopes others will get beyond judging her unfairly and embracing what she does have to offer… Some excerpts from the article: Throughout her life, Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle has carried the label "brain damaged". Now, in an exclusive interview with the Observer, the 52-year-old has revealed that she was misdiagnosed after complications at birth and has actually had Asperger's, a high-functioning form of autism. "It was the wrong diagnosis when I was a kid," she says. "I was told I had brain damage. I always knew it was an unfair label. Now I have a clearer understanding of what's wrong and I feel relieved and a bit more relaxed about myself." Asperger's affects social interaction and communication skills, and sometimes hinders the ability to form relationships and gauge appropriate behaviour in different social contexts. Boyle, who was called "Susie Simple" while growing up in her home town of Blackburn, West Lothian, was bullied as a child because she was "different" from her classmates. Now she can give that difference a name. "I went to seek a diagnosis from a Scottish specialist," she says. "Nobody told me to. I thought I had a more serious illness and couldn't function properly." Asperger's often creates anxiety in sufferers because of their inability to deal with situations which others take in their stride, and Boyle admits to being nervous about the consultation. But she coped well with a series of simple tests that showed her intelligence levels were not connected to her condition:"I was told my IQ was above average." The singer has also suffered from depression and mood swings and acknowledges her own vulnerability and need for support. "I am not strong on my own," she admits. "When I have the support of people around me I am fine. I have a great team." Boyle says that her struggles growing up made her more determined to succeed but also left their mark on her. "You don't fight without some resentment." She insists the new Asperger's diagnosis neither defines nor confines her. "It will not make any difference to my life. It's just a condition that I have to live with and work through." She hopes, though, that it will lead to people showing greater empathy and understanding towards her and her condition. "I think people will treat me better because they will have a much greater understanding of who I am and why I do the things I do."
