A man writes on you tube: She lives like 5 minutes away from me, i see her all the time at my local shopping center, & she is the most nicest person i have ever came across. My uncle was on the bus one day with his daughters, and just before the stop they were gonna get off at Subo got off the bus. She still uses our public transport etc, she is incredible. Robert, I too played this wonderful song at my daughter's funeral service. There was not a dry eye among the congregation. It was sung by a jazz singer, a friend of my late daughter. I saw the film when it first came on the silver screen, probably 1944. Memories are made of this.

Actually I have Eva's CD and , like Susan, I love her Over the Rainbow. Different singers have done the original version. Every voice is different. That is the essential difference between Susan and Eva, The voices are so different. I can listen to Susan's voice over and over and never grow tired or bored. She has such perfect technique and control and the richness of her beautiful Mezzo voice is different from Eva's We are privileged to have both.

I chose this song for my mums funeral as it is the best place in the world I can imagine her being. Whilst Susan's version was not played in the end, to me it should have been as the feeling she expresses is amazing and gives me great comfort. I never actually said goodbye, and now it seems so wrong. Just couldn't find the moment, and then the moment was gone. Goodbye mum, love you forever. xx
