Top Music tended to make singers lip sync, and this case is no different. This is the original recording. The program suffers, because Susanna Hoffs' live performances are awsome. She sometimes does a stripped down acoustic version that really does the original recording justice, while giving the audience a real treat.

I'm not sure that's true here? I may not have the best ear for this sort of thing, but I thought I heard some differences from the recorded version.

@@suedenim You may be right about the lip sync. After listening to both side by side, there are differences in Susanna's interpretation. But there is definitely playback. The instrumentation is recorded. If not it would be totally acoustic. It's a shame because when Susanna sings stripped down acoustic versions (unplugged), on her own or with the Bangles, they sound awsome.
