at first listen, I felt something so deep... as if I was watching from a tiny perspective, to a gigantic appeareance of a being, pure, enlightened.. I cannot put into words.. as if millons of people were watching it from all over the world appear in the skies, and with its presence it transmitted peace, unity.. like a huge MOMENTUM in history... since then.. when i listen, this image keeps coming in. Loving the song sooo much, Sussane voice is something so unique to this world!

I think I'm gonna start a new religion: Sussanedforism. If this is how spiritual purity sounds like, I will do anything in my power to achieve it. Oh, and this is its sole anthem.

This song is like a cross between watching cold scenery in Iceland and listening to someone perform in a cathedral…that someone happening to be an incredibly talented singer and musician.

Gorgeous. Makes me miss my college choral groups. Sang this in norwegian for scandinavian studies caroling. Susanne always knocks it out of the park.

Its great if you like that kind of thing. Personally it does nothing for me. "When The Lord" however is one of the most beautiful songs ever written.

In Norway this is almost always the last song sung on our Xmas day, the 24. In churchers all over the Nation at 1655ish, the celebration opens at 1700ish. To sing this song at that time and see the faces in your church. You learn alot of expecxtations and no expextations at all. This for me hits so hard and this version captures this brilliantly. Hope and despair(just listen to the organ and the contrabass) I used to sing in a choir,I know how strong this song can be. Tusen takk Susanne🧡

It's a traditional Nordic song. Just search the title, and you'll easily find lyrics with translation.
