I used to love to pore over the inserts in a new cassette tape when I was a kid. You’re exactly right in that collecting Steelbooks gives that same kind of feeling. I never thought about it that way.

I got the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice steelbook. I had to order it online because it was not in any stores near me. It took 2 weeks to arrive, but it was so worth the wait. You are right that it looks so cool. Thank you for pointing out the rounded edges on the slipcover. I didn't even notice that.

I enjoyed Sue’s list of Steelbooks. It’s sad to know she won’t have a list for next year, as she won’t be buying anymore 4Ks or Blu-rays.

She is still promoting for studios because she’s good at it. With her being detailed w/physical media, she will be getting steels in the new year from studios. So she will still be bringing us the best of 2025. I am looking forward to seeing what comes in the next year myself

I only own the “Drive” steel book. I did purchase the “Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice” steel book as an X-mas present for a friend and they loved. Not a fan of the movie. So, I passed on it for myself. Not a huge SB collector anyway, but had I liked the movie, I’d have gone that route in that release. I wouldn’t have a top ten list for myself, but I also picked up the “Elm Street,” “Twister,” “Godzilla: Minus One,” and “Terminator” steel books and loved those. Another one I picked up was the “Starship Troopers” steel book reprint from Sony. Wanted that one for the superior transfer. Oddly enough, my one and only pre-order I have for 2025 is the “Seven” steel book. Usually, I do tend to stick with the slipcover option.

I haven't seen the film, but judging by the reviews that Madam Web steelbook is even worse than the film. I think my favourite is the Willy Wonka steelbook
