I’ve always did this to my sweaters or tops because I have short arms but I sew mine on the sewing machine. Before I cute the fabric I sew the fabric, then cut then insert the cuff and sew them on the sewing machine and it looks like you bought it that way.♥️❤️

That looks great, but the problem I've always had is the original cuff is narrower than the upper part of the sleeve which the cuff needs to be attached to (see <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="85">1:25</a>). In other words, there is excess circumference in the upper sleeve. Do you just stretch the cuff to match the upper sleeve? Does that mean this won't work if the material does not stretch like knit, unless you make a pleat or two in the upper sleeve.?

I always do this and sew it by hand which is hardly noticeable till i point it out to colleagues. im quite good at needlework by hand passed down by my mother so i never ever felt the need for machines except for major sewing which ive not come across just yet. ❤❤😂😂😂
