Good review. Could you do a lesson on A Minor Emergency by Rura?

Some velvet under the key could reduce the clicking noise?

I have just bought a Low D Tony Dixon whistle and also find it hard to reach the lowest hole even with the Piper's grip. Do you know if it is possible to just buy that extra key pad that would fit another D whistle?

There is a key you can buy, but this one from Susato won't fit onto a Dixon. Have a look on Etsy 😊 www.etsy.com/uk/listing/593046936/tone-hole-key-easy-reach-for-low?show_sold_out_detail=1&ref=nla_listing_details

Very good to see a Susato whistle! I think the curved windway gives it a very good tone. I've never had a clogging problem (but I do live in a desert). I had my Susato Oriole slip once while I was practicing and in trying to recover it ended up slinging it down a stairway. Thankfully it held up! The thumb rest makes sure my right hand is always in the same position, I wouldn't want to play without one now. Susato also has a variety of other whistle types and recorders, unfortunately there are so few reviews of them!

I've reviewed a few before, the low G and the Oriole Bb 😊 lovely whistles!

I have a Susato A whistle which I quite like as it plays well with a smooth sweet sound, if a bit loud on the highest notes. I like the key on that low D as on my A , due to my slightly short fingers, the lowest hole is a bit hard for me to cover sometimes and Ifind I miss covering it fully sometimes.

Thank you, great video! I have this whistle, but mine doesn't make that clicking sound at all... I love mine and it plays well outdoors and also in cold weather. My only complaint is that it is soft in tone, when playing in a group, I go for my high whistle! 😊

Ohh, that's actually great to hear. It might be because this one is brand new? Perhaps the key will settle in after a few plays 💚

I don't remember ever having the click sound... I would have noticed that right away. I am also a flute player and my flute makes more noise than my low whistle! @@CutiepieTinWhistle

Very overpriced for a plastic whistle......its time to get real with prices materials etc.. and be honest with what is sane....!

Good review. I like Susato whistles, but the plastic in the finger rest eventually gets brittle and it breaks. It happened to both Susatos that I own.
@CutiepieTinWhistle10 ай бұрын
I think they sell them on their own - so you could likely replace the thumb rest if you needed to :) I guess a small piece of plastic like that is unlikely to outlast the whistle. They could perhaps consider making them from other materials though...
