However I have never been taught by my professor of Forensic medicine that a horizontal ligature mark can be suicidal through hanging by ceiling fan, albeit it can be if the hanging is done on a horizontal platform and the scenario would be different. The facial features is also an additional factors which arises suspicion of suicidal hanging and nevertheless the PM report without mentioning time of death is not illegal but a crime itself...As you correctly said that in law everyone is free until proven guilty, than simultaneously the law also says rule out murder first than come to conclusion of suicide . Let the truth unfold itself through CBI and if this ligature mark is indeed through ceiling fan suicidal hanging than you may be right and its a learning thing for me ..Thank you
