Great video!! Super helpful! I'm probably over thinking this but for the fruit cards: my example says "Chris has 0 watermelon, 1 orange & 4 Pineapple" i definitely understand the scoring and all but how is it possible to have 1 orange and no watermelon, and somehow 4 Pineapple?? Am I misunderstanding the icons or did they just fuck up? Hahaha

A big limitation of this game is that shuffling your cards is very important - especially as you store cards according to the same group. If the cards aren't shuffled well, the game won't "work" well.

Not a limitation at all

Can you use Tea card to get points for Deserts stack?
@BoardGameSanctuary2 жыл бұрын
Hi! Tea cards only counts the cards during the round. So no it doesn't apply to the desserts.. I hope that helps! :)

looks easy to play but it seems in order to know what to do everyone has to study all the cards which takes a while to learn / memorize?? seems like a steep learning curve. seems like the beef of the game is points and to know how to score would require learning all the card values. how long does that take?
@BoardGameSanctuary6 жыл бұрын
Yes this game is a step up from 'Sushi Go' which is much simpler easier to teach and learn. The game provides more variety. If playing for the first time I'd say it takes about 45 min depending on the number of players. After everyone is familiar with the different point scoring mechanisms, the play time reduces significantly. If you're looking for a quick game then the original Sushi Go is your go to game :) Hope that helps.

How does the menu that's good for new players work with 7 players? I have a games night tonight where most of the people are brand new to board gaming and I was planning to use Sushi Go Party as one of the games to play.
@BoardGameSanctuary7 жыл бұрын
It works really well because the point scoring conditions on each of the cards in the 'My First Meal' menu are quick to explain and easy to understand. The original Sushi Go only accommodated a maximum of 5 players, but the 'My First Meal' menu in Sushi Go Party is suited up to 8 players. There are enough cards in the Sushi Go Party set for the number of players you have. Enjoy :D
