It went from WWY being the one to initiate things between them; now LWJ is the more dominant one in the relationship. They trust eachother, tend to be in sync and think the same things, they have the same instincts and are equal in a battle. They take turns being in charge, Lab Zhan let's Wei Ying touch his headband, use his bichen , and even touch him . They get shy when they meet eyes so they look away and hesitate when talking but the eyes follow everything and stays lingered when the other is looking away. I loved watching MDZS and The untamed, I've seen the untamed probably 20 times by now, both the regular versions and special edition . I've read the manga and listened to the audio and I really do love the series. The actors were perfect for the roles and even did the audio too Yibo and Xiao Zhan I think Thank you for the subs and for explaining what was going on while giving some funny and cute comment's

I would agree, they worked really hard to convey all the romantic scenes in the novel in an acceptable way. I wish that there is no censor thing in China, but we have to appreciate their culture still, and yes, there is a ton of moral values that we could get. As the novel reader, I am satisfied with this drama :)

I can't agree with that heart-warming interpretation of Jiang Cheng's actions. If It was true, Lan Wangji wouldn't hate him so much that he even refused to look at him. Don't tell me he would not see though his plan. And if It was really his plan, it was the most stupid plan ever. And remember that he tought Jin Ling to hate Wei Wuxian. Hardly a loving brother. One very interesting thing about untamed is that all the characters are really complex. There isn't anyone whos absolutely bad (except maybe jinguangshan lol) or perfectly good (wangxian make mistakes too. weiying is a unique hero because he makes mistakes too). Jiangcheng is an example of someone who encompasses both good and bad. He and his mom both are tofu heart and knife mouth (his mom always say mean stuff to weiying but she still let purple lighting recognize weiying's gold core which means she still really care about him). If jiangcheng really wanted to kill weiying, he can easily stab weiying instead of hitting the stone which I talked about in last video; he's a clan leader; his swordsmanship cannot be that bad to miss weiying when weiying isn't eve nmoving). I very agree it's a bad plan! That's why I say jiangcheng's way of "helping"/"saving" weiying isn't what weiying really need. Even though jiangcheng didn't want to kill weiying, his actions and personality did hurt weiying (good contrast to wangxian. lol yunmeng double pride and like "my ex and i" and wangxian is like "my soulmate and i"). One example is he feel like weiying "owes" him and should forever be loyal to the jiangs (even weiying says "you still haven't grown up"). He also pretty much verbally abuse weiying all the time. Weiying knows jiangcheng is kinda like a boy who says mean things but has a soft heart because they grew up together (like when they were little, jiangcheng said mean things to weiying and then immediately went looking for weiying because he's worried). But lanzhan didn't grow up with jiangcheng. Also, lanzhan wouldn't let his xianxian eevn have a single scratch; he doesn't even allow anyone to say mean things about weiying, so even just with jiangcheng's mean verbal actions, lanzhan already dislikes jiangcheng, and then other things aside, technically jiangcheng did make weiying fall which made lanzhan wait 16 years so technically jiangcheng is the wife killer to lanzhan hahaha

I really like Jiang Cheng, he was a very important and even crucial character but even if he didn't have bad intentions many times, he didn't have good intentions either. Often he mind his own business without the consideration of the others which was against the ethos of cultivators really (sad that's most of them were like that). I don't think he wanted to kill WWX at that moment, but I don't believe he wanted to save him. I think he was so much in pain that Yanli died, that he wanted to ease his anger and that's why he striked. Look at his shocked face when WWX let LWJ hand. Not a look of someone who planned it.

TheAlte111 agree that at the moment he was really broken by yanli’s death. He purposely stabbed the stone rather than Weiying’s body or hand or arm which means he didn’t really want to directly hurt Weiying. The way he screamed out loud and then purposely stabbed on the rock is similar to what he did in burial grounds (both get injured and then scream to the world wwx betrayed Jiangs). He was surprised because he didn’t think Weiying will just let go of lanzhan’s hand like that. Maybe he wants Weiying and lanzhan to both fall; maybe he wants to pretend like he killed Weiying and then pull him up and then bring him back to lotus cove. But definitely he didn’t intend to kill Weiying & “not killing Weiying” is his definition of “saving Weiying” (“I didn’t kill you so you should be thankful and stop creating trouble and live peacefully at lotus cove”). So less of “purposely wanting Weiying to fall” but more like “purposely scream to world that he‘s killing Weiying but intentionally stab on the stone”. And regarding what happens after he stabs the stone, he didn’t really think much because no matter what happened to wwx, he’s still gonna bring him back to lotus cove. He insisted on looking for weiying (even lanzhan said this which means it had a big impression on him. Lanzhan doesn’t like to talk lol) because even if Weiying is in a vegetable state, he will still make Weiying lie in bed of lotus cove (he has this logic that Weiying should stay in lotus cove and be loyal to Jiangs)

@@sushiNbear Taking into account how much Lan Wangji, who had been always very composed and cool-headed, was distressed at that moment, I don't believe that Jiang Cheng, who was smart, but not that quick thinker would come up with any plan like this after Yanli's death. I feel that my interpretation is much simpler and fit the characters more. But The Untamed is very open for different interpretations. I like your theory, is very beautiful, but I don't agree with this view.

@@TheAlte111 I agree with you too 😊Rather than deliberately plan to save weiying, more like he just thought, "I could stab you and really want to but I didn't so that's saving you and you should bee grateful" but didn't care what the aftermath is (regardless dead or in coma or whatever, he will do the same and try to bring weiying back to lotus cove). He kept weiying's flute for 16 years. In the end when he cried out how he actually feels, his point is still that weiying forgot the promise of yunmeng double pride. So he subconsciously never want to hurt weiying

There is another hidden msg here. Going to Qinghe (? Sorry I forgot the name of this place in 4:54)is their fist spirit hunting after WeiYing resurrection, Lanzhan too used to go hunting by himself and walk too fast til he left WeiYing behind and got chased by the fairy dog. I realised that after this, Lanzhan always walk behind WeiYing (except when he pretend to be’ not happy’ or in jealousy), it’s so sweet of him.

ACGV30 he misses Weiying so much and wanted to feel all the pain Weiying has felt before so he put the scar on himself in the exact spot Weiying got that scar using the same metal 😢he also drank liquor that Weiying likes & did everything Weiying said he would bring lanzhan to do (I will discuss more later 😊）so it’s like “Weiying you never left my side”

@@samc7312 每一個任務不同吧，緊袖是因為他們都有任務，圍獵、找陰鐵，穿那樣比較方便，還有年齡場合不同啊，藍湛那時候才十幾歲，藍湛因為在藍家，藍氏服飾都是這樣的，還有魏嬰會那樣穿，是因為藍氏講堂要他們穿的，其他時間魏嬰都是黑紅的衣服，藍湛16年後，已經30好幾了，衣服要符合那時候年齡

I am not at all satisfied with these explanations.. Everything can't be taken in a romantic way only, it does not make sense.. I think you forgot that it's absolutely not possible for Wei ying to go to lotus cove as he was abandoned long ago.. There are many things that contradicts your explanations in this video, I agree with 25% things only... Plz don't get me wrong but you exaggerated the things and gave some scenes unnecessarily a romantic angle when they were not...he absolutely called "shijie" not "Lan zhan". When in the flash back it's his sis then why would he call Lan zhan that doesn't make sense and also to substantiate you only picked the last movement of lips not the whole word"shijie "... I have seen your many videos they were really awesome and on point but I am quite disappointed as this video is like more of a Crack video.

Me too. I thought I was the only who felt that way. Like Lanzhan was in love it’s Wei’s mind. I love the novel I just can’t get pass that Lanzhan was so in love with Wei. Wei came back in another mans body and LanZhan seems like he was more in love. I was like if my husband die and come back looking like someone else will I still be sexually attracted to that new face and body...my answer is no.
