I still watch and enjoy his videos to the day. Even though ive seen them all before. I didn't know Lecile personally but hes on my list of original people that wasnt made in a mold. Hes a celebrity to me. The down home country good kind of celebrity. Ted Kimzey and Leon Coffee always spoke highly of him. I always loved their characters since i was a boy.

I rode bulls from 1961 to 1969 at rodeos Lucile Harris worked. He was the best bull fighter in the business during that time. Saved my bacon many times during that period.

RIP to a legendary entertainer. His post on FB revealing the sad news: "With immense and unbelievable sadness, I regret to inform everyone that Lecile Harris passed peacefully in his sleep last night after completing the Dixie Nationals Rodeo in Jackson, Mississippi. Thank you for your consideration in respecting our family's privacy and allowing us time to grieve." (2/13/20)
