Lucky that you spotted a slight browny hill of chocolate hills during rainy season. The full chocolate - brown color of the hills may only occur dry season and a long sunny days where the grasses within the hills are dry enough.

I definitely prefer Dumaluan beach as well! Alone is fun for restaurants or a good central spot to get on island hopping boats but just for the beach itself I prefer the more empty, relaxing spots 😊

It’s just too bad you’re all vegetarians because Fanny would not be able to try true Filipino staple food like, chicken or pork adobo, kare-kare, bulalo, sisig, lechon, sinigang, beef steak or bistek, even lumpiang shanghai.
