i can relate to this song so much. my ex best friend is now spreading rumors about me, most popular girl in my grade, having the best year of her life, and dating my former crush.. and I’m doing terrible (edit: 2022) so, me and my ex best friend still have a bad relationship, it’s been about 5 months already since our friendship has ended and even now she’s still trying to get my attention. it still hurts me but now looking back at this i realized that it’s so pathetic and stupid for her to still try and make me feel a certain way. she’s still dating my former crush, but the past is the past 😅 I’m trying my best to stay positive and confidently move on from her so she can know that I’m sick and tired of her, but so far she doesn’t get that clue 😐

Ok, I'm so sorry in advance, but you need to hear this. What I heard from this comment was that she may have been using a manipulation technique. Basically, what you do with this technique is make a person feel great around you. You make them feel loved and accepted. Then, you pull away from them physically and mentally. This makes the person crave that attention they once got from you, and makes that person want them back in their life, but can't get it. Then, they come back to you and make you happy again. They give the attention that you were craving. Now, this can lead to a very manipulative relationship, that you would want to get out of immediately. Unfortunately, it can prove to be a struggle after they have used this technique. I also could be completely wrong, but I felt I should warn you anyways 😅. Make sure to stay safe!
