Came close to having another cadaver to investigate. A real spine-chilling conclusion. Also, the arrest killer thing bugs out on the form if you have not filled in the name first. I believe it won't affect gameplay, but the check happens when you pull up the list, using the name. Thankfully, it seems to update after, meaning you will still get credit to that task if you did the step.

Thank you for giving a kind of moral play through of one murder case in this game. I only seen "crazy people" play this game and I did not get the detective vibe from those videos, but you showed that this game can be a detective game.

I love watching people play this game. Tried playing it myself yesterday and I am so bad at being stealthy so I just end up beating people up and running away xD gonna need some practice

This game has a lot going for it, but in the end you need real motives, dialogue and AI for it to stick. Arresting someone in the act and not being able to correlate what just happened in talking to them breaks immersion. Other things as well, light switches and paying for passes/info. It's the same thing all over

In the first video, you missed something about the insurance letter. Sienna (not Selena) was also the last number dialed from the victim's phone.

my goal for my sandbox playthrough is to brute force learning every single fingerprint in the game on government computers... so far I think I'm at fingerprint KH. I had a killer with fingerprint BT and I for the love of God can't find who it was. I closed the case and gave up. one day I'll find out who it was

The only thing I dislike so far is the bribing. It devalues the PI aspect of the game that everyone just needs a bit of money to give you access to everything. Other than that, the game seems really fun. Might pick it up.

@@OfficialStuffPlus Makes sense from a lore perspective. Just found it a bit odd that a hired killer would just let you into their apartment and take their finger prints for a couple hundred credits. Would be more fun (and fitting) being forced to find a more subtle approach. :)

You should have arrested Sienna the moment you got her prints. By following her all the way to Lotte's apartment before making the arrest you endangered the life of a civilian

I remember when was playing Morrowind "back then" - there was a lot of fuss about "game lives on it's own" and "events are happening at the background". All of it quickly turned out to be scripted events based on player's actions and nothing else :) I wonder, if this is the case in this game? Were you indeed an inch away from having a witness becoming a victim, or this whole chase took place only because of your participation?
