@@hectoralicea7719 In general you have a point, but what if she was literally sitting in the garage with it open minding her business.... there was nothing wrong in her doing so. Now if she was in another room while the garage door is open then yeah...not a smart move. Nobody is expecting a high speed chase to occur right as your doing that, and for the guy to actually run in like that. Where i live in margate fl ( not far at all from where this happened ironically, literally down the street from me) its very common for homeowners to have their garage open while theyre out in the yard doing whatever. It clearly caught her by surprise, as it would anyone in that situation. I even saw the police speeding right by my house as it happened lol. I wouldnt cast judgement on her for that though, things happen when you least expect, its apart of life unfortunately.

@RosemaryLaptop
@RosemaryLaptop 5 күн бұрын
@@mary323 an AK47is an automatic weapon{ a MACHINE GUN}. those are already illegal. An AR15 is more likely the weapon that was used and that is a SEMI AUTOMATIC. A semi auto gun means one bullet every time you pull the trigger similar to all handguns. An AK47 has a lot of wood on it , and those guns did not, so they were likely AR15s which are NOT assault rifles they are just like most hunting rifles they just look like army rifles but in looks only.

*There was an update in May 2024 (roughly a year later) for Matthew Geimer Jr, the individual at the end who was swimming and discovered in nothing but swim trunks at the end. The guy got 120 months for Count 1 and Count 2 (the most serious of charges being armed robbery and car jacking). Luckily for him, those sentences run concurrently meaning its 10 years for both (and not consecutively which would be 20 years). The less serious charges like possession of a firearm by a convicted felon AND eluding police/reckless driving…well, Matthew got 84 months for that but to run consecutively to Count 1 and 2. This means Matthew will have to serve at least 17 years (204 months). He will not get out until he’s 39 yrs old, he was arrested in 2023 at the age of 22. That means 17 YEARS for a reckless joy ride and armed car jacking. He will spend the vast majority of his 20s and 30s with this regret while his peers are living their life. He knew the stakes were high during the police chase because his previously convicted felon status was going to make everything worse for him (sorta like in California, how felons act when they know they already have two strikes).*
