Thanks for the useful presentation . Can you explain that for the primary amputee when you recommend the pin lock system. Most of the patient asking about it. I know that it will not be good for them due to stump volume changing specially for diabetic and Kidney disease patient. I need your feedback. thanks in advance

I have a suction system i have been walking w/ prosteric since jan,' 23 no problems other than foot , which im addressing w/ prostethist now. So i think i would like to have elevated vacuum suction system device. How or when is a good time that i could bring that up to my prostethist? As i said ive had no problems with device and already had 2nd socket made cuz of many socks i was wearing but i just believe i would benefit most from elevated vac system. Also could you advise me on a foot , i have hills, rocks and up and down mvmnt time i walk out my door as i live on a farm very uneven! I hàve a rush rogue 2 currently but had a used echolon hydrolic foot put on my 1st socket and now dont care for the rogue 2 foot its much harder and takes way more time to do all my chores that i have here. I live on 180 acres w/ 50 plus cows and i do it all as i do live alone. So i would like your opinion on a good sturdy foot, please. i really enjoy getting things done so much easier w/ the hydrolic foot! But dont if that is the best option for me. Vacuum and suction are the same thing. The guy just uses a lot of irrelevant words. Elevated has a pump Had o e does nothing. The foot valve does the same thing. Vacuum socket does wear shim socks. Always. Still does piston if loose. Pinlock is for below leg. Atrophy us muscle loss and is like over months. Fluid retention or expulsion is a totally different thing and changes through the day. Big thing is a good fitting socket and is an art. The best make some bad ones. Find a group with other amputees people. Google will find. This fool will hurt you.

As a 9 year raka and not American I feel you need to be corrected every second sentence. I see why the Anericans I know on a large facebook group I am in struggle with what I find easy. Waiting so long before getting a leg for one. With all due respect you are plain wrong. Down time is why you have higher failure rate than any other country. I am thankful Canada or at least my leg guy is a lot better at his job than this guy. Wow.
