I thought about this after watching it again. Luke had a real opportunity here to have a kind replacement father figure that Luke had never had. I sort of wish he had taken that job, and allowed a father/son relationship to grow. I know it's not the soap way, but it would have been nice.

I don't mind saying, I was 11 years old in 1981. My mom watched GH. And for some reason the only thing that stood out in my mind for their wedding was that scene where Luke holds up his and Laua"s hands and tells Scott that they are married. Strange how certain things stand out and other don't. I don't remember a lot about there wedding. Mainly just Luke getting pissed and Laura crying. .. Now as an adult ,I realize that I don't remember watching this stuff.

@@sonyab1974 During the Left Handed Boy story several times when Laura would start panicking about something he would tell her to chill, a couple of times calling her spudnuts, and another time squirrel bait. So it made sense to me to flip that back on Luke, which is why it made me roll on the floor laughing at how he is now like Laura, freaking out.
