You are spot on Sussezq, Laura does NOT need rescuing. Luke does... and she is the only one who can rescue him. That's why he has plunged into the depths of the bottle. GF is one dynamite actress...and TG ain't bad either.

Tracy is anti-Laura. Laura's presence made Luke want to be a better person. When Laura got sick he didn't care about anything,felt responsible for her getting ill.Lost himself in the bottom of a bottle. Luke never felt worthy of Laura. Tracy had no expectations; tolerated him leaving,cheating, being drunk all of the time. She is fine with him wallowing in the darkness.She lives there too.But her cognitive challenges,their games, kept him alive(physically). His soul needs its light though LAURA!

sussezq I use to be that viewer....i started watching when laura wasn't there so when she came back to me she was pathetic(can't believe i said that) but when i started to watch from the beginning in your channel OMG was i wrong and GF is an amazing extraordinary actress. You can see that Luke shuts himself off every time Laura is really angry at him. When Lucky got shot, during this, etc. It's as if he is holding his emotions close and not daring to make a move towards Laura because he doesn't want to know what she is feeling or might do because of her feelings. So sad. I don't get why TPTB are tearing them apart unless it is because TG and maybe GF is sick of L&L but I have seen some later clips that shows them together like in 2000 and they are still adorable together so I am quite confused about all this.

Hold on Laura. Before you throw Luke out, tell him you had two lovers on the Cassadine island and bore a son in 6 amazing months before returning to PC. Sickening how here out of the blue Laura tells Luke she wants him gone. The character of Laura changed in a twinkling of an eye. Luke remained constant right up until 2016. Laura was terrible from 95 onward.
