EXPERTS:
MARCELO BRITTO, food engineer, is the executive secretary of the Consórcio dos Estados da Amazônia Legal (Consortium of States of the Legal Amazon). He is currently a professor and coordinator of the Centro Global Agroambiental at the Fundação Dom Cabral. He was president of the Associação Brasileira do Agronegócio (2019-2021).
RICARDO RODRIGUES, biologist, is research director at re.green and a professor in the department of Ciências Biológicas of the Escola Superior de Agricultura Luiz de Queiroz of the Universidade de São Paulo (ESALQ-USP). He works on conservation and restoration from the perspective of rural property.
The debate took place in April 2024. The video has optional subtitles in Portuguese, English and Spanish that can be activated in the settings.
