Sustainably regasifying LNG using heat from seawater

Regasifiers with seawater use the heat of seawater to bring ultra-cold liquefied natural gas (LNG) back into gaseous form. They avoid using conventional energy as a heat source for regasifying and therefore significantly reduce CO2 emissions. The Zeebrugge LNG terminal has 4 regasifiers with seawater in operation.
