Hey are you using the idea of someone falling asleep and having no idea what happened when they wake up as a comedic tool to change the subject when characters are feeling down because you don't know how to do it otherwise? Is that blunt? I'm so sorry if that sounds rude, but I noticed you did it twice and the contexts were very similar, it just stuck out to me so I felt the need to ask... Once again very sorry I'm not the best at wording things politely.

i’m honestly not sure, but yeah- i can’t remember what happens in this video, but i usually try to use comedy do uh, brighten up whatever is happening in the scene. usually i have a comedic character with them, but when it doesn’t seem in character for the character to be funny in the scene, i have to force comedy into the situation to make it less awkward. dw, it doesn’t sound impolite nor does it sound rude, hope this answered your question

I can suggest characters sort of like Amber could be a bit oblivious, or try to look at the bright side of things and fail hilariously, or characters like Jean doing some motivating speech and getting them all to swear to do better, that way you can move on to the next scene on a happier note? Rather than thinking purely about the comedic side of things and how to change the subject, try thinking about what the characters would do to make everyone feel better in their own way. Look at it from the perspective of a person who wants all their friends to feel better about something rather than from your usual perspective. I'm not sure if I explained what is going through my mind clearly but I hope it can help even the smallest bit. I really liked the video by the way, even if there are some things you can improve upon I can tell you will grow and be great.
