Pablo was my mentor and good friend from 1985 until he died. My wife, Diane, and I are planning to make a documentary film about his life. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. He was one of a kind. We miss him terribly.

I agree with the raves about Pablo Elvira. Sad that this fabulous baritone died so young at age 63. He was at the N.Y. City opera in the early 70s, when Jose Carreras and Sam Ramey were there. I saw operas with all 3 in them. What a treat and wonderful memory.

pues .......como siempre digo........ella misma.......como tiene que ser...................ha cantado esta opera representada creo que 221 veces......solo escuchamos algunos datos discograficos y videograficos......ha saber lo que nos hemos perdido....en esas 221 representaciones.....si ya lo que conosco me tiene loco no quiero si saber lo que desconosco......porque de ella me espero......eso...que otros vieron en directo y yo no.......pero me lo imagino.......puero extasis...........
