I picked the Galaxy's edge one, I was kinda bummed on the pommel at first but I now think that this is one of the best legacy sabers, great feeling in hand and light enough to spin it a bit. Lots of issues with the latest Hasbro's releases too, glad to hear they improved their products with the Kenobi one.

Force FX finally didn't screw up so many of the small things. You don't need to screw the speaker into the body. The blade is easyish to install. Sound is still pretty low but all things considered a step in the right direction. I still prefer the look of GE with display neck on.

Great video! Glad we purchased both sets! The D23 box set displays the hilts and our Black Series lightsaber will be displayed with the blade on the wall along with other Legacy, Black Series and Master Replica sabers. Our daughter loves turning them all on as we head down into our finished basement.

If you got the D23 set, then legacy version for sure. However between legacy and black series, I'd say black series is better mainly for the blade effects. It looks slightly better with the blade installed too. Great video as usual! I was about to get my hands on the D23 set so I'm completely satisfied with it.

I just got some neopixels for the first time and will never go back to the retail versions. When shooting a video of them compared to my Elite Kenobi, though, I was still impressed with how smooth the blade ignited and retracted. For me I got the the BS Obi-Wan. These are display pieces for me and the BS stand is far superior. Great review yet again. I like that you are non-biased and don't "poo-poo" the lower cost sabers for the budget conscious customer. Obviously an $800+ saber will always be better, but the lower end market is improving IMO. The BS Elite's are light years ahead of the original BS sabers. Your review of the Disney Custom Legacy Mace (new version) hooked me in since I have a spare BS stand I could display it on, plus, it's on sale for 30% off at Shop disney which brings it down to $180. I still have a strong feeling Hasbro will eventually do an Elite Mace (should have come out before Revan IMO) in which case I can pass down the Disney Legacy to my padawan. BS Elite Luke comes out 3/24, looking forward to your review/comparison of than one too.

The best part is we get to watch an grown man playing with his lightsabers. There is nothing wrong with that since most of us are adults with lightsabers. I do have a couple of sabers with D ring on them and I usually don't wear them. They tend to flop around while walking around DL. I prefer the Covertech wheel.

Thanks for doing this video! However I find it confusing the way you are constantly switching between a large number of different names for those two sabres, to the point that half the time I don't know which you're referring to. For one thing you use "Kenobi Series" for either sabre at various points. At 5:11 you begin using the terms "Black Series" and "Legacy" and I had to go back to the beginning of the video to find where you did mention "Black Series Elite Kenobi Series" and "the newest addition to the Legacy Collection" along with "Galaxy's Edge Kenobi Series" and "Force FX Elite Kenobi Series from Hasbro". It would help the non-expert to use, after introducing them, a unique brief name for each sabre consistently throughout the remainder of the video, like "Disney" and "Hasbro" or something.

I've had the Legacy bundle in hand for almost a month now. I like it quite a bit, but thought the hilt would be a bit heavier. It's got great weathering and the blade effects are very good. The Black Series just came in today and I have to say I'm impressed with the weight and the feel. The sound volume is a little lower than the GE, at least that's how it seems to me, anyway. All the blade effects seem to work well. Over all I'm impressed. I do like the metal stand better than the GE plastic, but they both function well. The only other thing I'm kind of disappointed with on the Black Series is the middle of the display neck being plastic. Metal emitter, metal plate that screws into the body, but let's make the neck plastic? That just seems like it could be a problem in the saber were ever dropped or falls off a shelf for some reason. If you're looking for a very nice Obi-Wan saber, The Hasbro is probably the way to go, considering it's easier to get and there are already deals out there. We all know Disney never puts the legacy sabers on sale.

@@enriqueguadarrama683 On the Black Series Obi-Wan saber, specifically, the "display" emitter is metal, and the plate that screws into the hilt is metal. But the thin neck connecting those two parts is made of plastic. Not sure why they would do that, unless they were concerned about the weight. The Obi-Wan sabe has some heft to it.

I had the same issue with the covertech wheel. I’m not sure which one to buy that will fit it. The clashing while you spin it depends on how hard you’re spinning it. It’s pretty sensitive and I’ve noticed that if I spin it too hard or fast, it’ll make the clash effect.

All things considered, it’ll have to be the force fix for me. It looks more accurate to the neopixel replica (Which says a lot) and it’s more accurate in sound to the show then the galaxy’s edge one. It can take light taps if you're swining it or emulating Obi-Wan's stance in a cramped room and hit shelves or walls by accident (mine also seems to be a tad more sensitive than in the review, with the clash sounds activating as I spin the lightsaber), but I wouldn't push your luck - I had a temporary problem with one of the LEDs glowing green after a bit of a knock. Defintely don't use this for duelling, let's just put it that way.

If I had to choose, I'd probably go with the Black series. I'm waiting to see if TPS/UW designs and sells a version and if so, I'd buy that instead. I'm more into either custom master hilt crafters or replicas, instead of the mass produced hilts. Good video.

Shew the old chunky one looks horrible haha. It's wild how the new sabers are so similar but so different. I liked the episode 4 sounds you showed . I will say the black series clash effects and blaster defects sound exactly like my Kylo Ren and Dark Saber. After your video I'm still glad I got the Legacy one. The extra effects don't really do it for me since I have other sabers that do the same. Can you compare your prop Saber to the sabers with their thin necks back on? When you lined them up they still had the thick necks and blades I'd like to see it beside the galaxy edge thin. Because it looks almost identical to me. Thanks for the awesome video!

Somehow the Hasbro saber does cost in Germany (maybe in the whole EU idk) 330€ and I looked it up at Hasbro directly, not at a reseller. Luckily I got a deal on Amazon for 290€ wich makes it ok, but we'll never reach 250€-260€ (Also a US Dollar and a Euro are almost the same right now, so that doesn't explain the difference of 50 bucks)

I’ve been watching your videos for a while now. Very neat love them! Curious question that doesn’t get mentioned much. Is it normal to experience the blade wobbling on these sabers? It’s always been abit of a let down for such a perfectly designed setup. I completely understand that it’s only for display but even when you wanna geek out on quick swings you can feel the slight wobble from the blade joint.
