Holy cow, I was actually at the performance where he dropped the book. It was quite funny he gave a little "oops" to the audience but he's right, the conductor had it back up to him in like 2 seconds.

Actually come to think of it… I have to jackal Hugh Jackman though. It wasn’t “3 nights ago. “It was a matinee performance on Wednesday April 20th. I’m so sorry Hugh, I had to.

The chivalry does it for me.Him touching her back to go first is just a small gesture,but says everything about the man.Too many men today don't even know what chivalry is.I raised my only son in the midst of 4 sisters to be this kind of man since he learned to walk.I so pray he never forgets.

After the Will Smith incident, the Depp trial, and a few other events, celebrities are losing their glamour and appeal. But it's really good to see Hugh Jackman who seems to be a really selfless person in real life. I saw a video of him visiting sick children at a hospital in Australia when he was doing Wolverine. Really appreciate actors who do that like him, and Ryan Reynolds, and Johnny to be fair. Hope that Hugh pays a visit to a children's hospital in NYC while he's there.

I've never adored all celebrities. I am familiar with the studio system which went to great lengths to protect their images and also threatened their "properties" into behaving as the studios saw fit. I saw Bill Cosby in concert twice about 20 years apart. Bought his albums, read his books. Admired him and his wife for their college work and charitable efforts. Then I saw him on a UNCF/Essence awards show as an audience member. Wanda Sykes was the roving MC, and she stopped by the row where he was sitting, greeted him as "Dr. Cosby" and asked him about what he thought of the show so far. He flat out insulted her and the younger performers about their clothing and manner of speaking and use of grammar. Camille Cosby leaned back and frowned at him, Wanda looked hurt, I remember thinking "What is up with this fool"? I lost my enthusiam for all things Cosby, especially when the revelations came out about him cheating on his wife. He acknowledged that he drugged the women without their knowledge even as he claimed having sex was consensual. He even did it in his homes. When he was finally convicted and sent to prison, I guessed he'd appeal and get out. I no longer have any of his albums or books. I don't watch reruns of any of his shows; why would I support any of the advertisers? There are still famous people I like, but cautiously.

@@pamelacass9642 my brother knew a flight attendant who was a big fan of his. He was on his plane once and when he was leaving, the kid told him it was an honor to meet him, he was a big fan and everything. Cosby just looked at him blankly, didn't say a word, and handed him an apple core, said "throw it in the trash" and walked out. I would rather almost never meet my favorite celebrities just to make sure I never have those kinds of experiences.

Let's see: Ask for vacation time. Buy new clothes and luggage. Buy plane tickets on a non-fighting plane. Order taxi. Taxi ride. Tip taxi driver. Did you pre-order hotel? Check in. Get something to eat. Figure out how to get to theater. Oops. Did you preorder tickets? Get to theater/walk/bus/subway/taxi-pay for it (tip for taxi driver). Watch show. Leave first-born male child for payment. OR: 2nd mortgage. OR: increase credit card limits on all cards. You get the picture. It all depends on how bad you want to see it, and how much your inheritance means to you. Or go through AAA. Or wait for the movie remake with Hugh Jackman. Hope this analysis has helped!😏

? For me she spoke perfectly fine finishing her sentences. I think she has a very kind of grateful/humble personality, feeling super lucky to be where she is. But honestly she's worked hard to get where she's at and very well deserved :)
@zachfeedman8709
@zachfeedman8709 2 жыл бұрын
I counted 5 instances where she used complete sentences and then ended her turn talking with a complete sentence, 3 where she did not finish her sentence, and 2 where she was interrupted before she could finish her sentence. she is a very accomplished stage actress who in past TV interviews has said she gets nervous doing them (ie being herself in front of an audience as opposed to a character). so, based off of that information and this interview, I would say she does not always leave her sentences unfinished.
