Hello everyone, As an italian I have never cooked peperoncini This recipe is awesome. I canned 3 pint jars yesterday. I decided to open one today. I had mashed potatoes already so I broke up the pork loin. Which just fell apart and I sliced up the peperoncini. Put it over the potatoes, heated it up in the microwave. What flavor zhe peperoncini added to the meal and they tasted great also. I have more pork loin and will be canning the rest. Thanks for this video

HERE’S A TIP…. I love this recipe. I once didn’t realize that I was out of the pepperoncini so, I substituted with dill pickle juice. Yummm!!!

I’ve never heard of or made this, but I’m gonna! I think what I’d do with it is break it up a bit, make that roux, and put it in a hoagie bun w/ potato salad and slaw on the side. Keto-wise: I’d wrap it in a low carb tortilla and snarf it down over the sink without ever getting to the table. 😳

Found one small chuck roast, one small shoulder roast, and a 6 1/2 pound pork roast...that was it. Here comes your recipe....crying now. This came at the best time! I DID IT x2!!! Beef Brisket Pork Shoulder Steaks The kitchen smelled amazing, and I'm sooooo tempted to break open a jar, but I know it will be best when the juices meld through the meat. All went well until I went back to the store for more pepperoncinis (shredded this time) and left $112 lighter. And yeah, I remembered the peppers...

I just made this recipe in pints last week. I took one each to both my daughters, one of whom immediately recognized it, even without a label! She said she'd wanted to make this recipe (not a canner) for a couple years, but the version she saw was beef, and we was worried she'd waste expensive beef, if she didn't like it. We opened a jar I brought for that purpose. It was good, but the one I opened tonight, 7 days later, was fabulous! This will become a standard. Love it!!!! Thanks.

I have a canned pork roast in my closet. We might have it with rice for supper. I am down this week with sciatic nerve inflammation. That means most of my time is spent laying flat with either a ice pack or heating pad on my back and hip. Plus, our weather is really stormy today making fibromyalgia and arthritis worse. This is a good day to use my best cook’s buddy. That would be canned food! Open, heat and serve. If you serve directly from the pan into paper plates, even clean up is easy. I am getting lazy as I age. I want it fast, easy and delicious. With that in mind, I have to can it myself! It’s a real bonus in life to be able to put together a great meal in twenty minutes. For a long time, I have saved my home canned food “for a rainy day”. Well, it’s raining right now! In fact since I recovered from Covid, it’s been pouring. It seems hard to string together three or four days to get anything done. I tire out fast, so I have To rest several times during the day. I hear that’s a common carry over from the virus. Have you and your husband had the vaccination? Some of my favorite YouTUBER DIED from this last round.. such a shame! I enjoy your channel and I love Linda, from Linda’s pantry too. I don’t remember who else is in your ugly chicken collaboration but I will find them all before it’s over. Thanks for all you do for us! You are a true blessing.

If you haven't been using the pepperoncini juice in your chicken soup, chix & dumplings, etc., you have been missing out big time! Anything with chix or sauce for chix {capers, butter, lemon juice, pepperoncini juice, YUM!] Some in store deli's that sell bulk pepperoncini's will actually sell you the brine when their peppers are almost gone for cheap lol. Subway won't tho, they'd rather throw it down the drain.
