10.The Tata Altroz Racer has been spied testing on public roads fully undisguised for the first time ahead of its launch next month. As compared to the show car displayed at the Bharat Global Mobility Expo earlier this year, the Altroz Racer test mule features one noteworthy visual change.

Tata Altroz Racer spy shots: what’s new?
The prototype has been spotted in the same dual-tone orange and black paint scheme that was showcased at the expo, however, it is seen running on the same diamond-cut alloy wheels as the standard Altroz. For the uninitiated, the Altroz Racer was equipped with different dark chrome/black alloy wheels when it made its debut at the event in February.
The one revealed prior to that, at the Auto Expo 2023, was equipped with the same alloy wheels as the regular hatch, albeit with a blacked-out finish. It is yet to be seen which alloy wheels out of these three will be offered on the upcoming Altroz Racer. Other exterior changes will include twin racing stripes on the bonnet and roof, ‘Racer’ badges and a slightly revised grille.
Tata Altroz Racer: specs, features, price
The i20 N Line rival will be offered with the same 1.2-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine as the Altroz iTurbo, albeit in a higher state of tune. The engine will produce 120hp and 170Nm torque; 10hp and 30Nm higher than the iTurbo. The Altroz Racer will likely be offered with a 6-speed manual transmission only.
The car will be offered with a new 10.25-inch touchscreen, segment-first ventilated front seats, 360-degree camera, a heads-up display and a voice-assisted sunroof - all of which will be made available on the regular Altroz at a later stage. The Racer line-up will also get six airbags and ESC as standard.
The Altroz Racer will be positioned as the flagship version of the premium hatch and will likely be priced between Rs 10 lakh to Rs 12.52 lakh (ex-showroom). It will directly rival the Hyundai i20 N Line, while also face competition from the turbo variants of Maruti Fronx and Toyota Taisor.
9.The new generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire was spotted undergoing tests on our roads for the first time ahead of its estimated early 2025 launch. Like 3 generations of the sedan before, the new Dzire will share its styling and mechanicals with the Swift hatchback. Like the new Swift that was showcased at the Tokyo Motor Show in October 2023, the new Dzire could offer a turbo petrol mild hybrid engine and improved safety features over the outgoing model.
New Maruti Dzire Spied; Reveals 360-Degree Camera
While there are no spy shots of the new Dzire’s front end, the rest of the sedan was covered in heavy camouflage. While details of the new Swift are limited at the moment, the spy shots reveal a camera on the ORVM, suggesting the new sedan could come with a 360-degree surround view monitor. While the Dzire 2025 prototype’s alloy wheels feature a new pattern, the over silhouette of the sedan is similar to the outgoing model.
The spy shots also reveal the rear of the upcoming Dzire, which looks sharper than before thanks to a new pair of LED tail lamps. The boot and the bumper look quite flat to fit the new Dzire under the sub-4m sedan category.
The new Dzire 2025 spy shots reveal the same dashboard as the upcoming Swift. Hence, expect the new sedan to offer a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system in its top variants. Like in the current model, we expect the 2025 Dzire’s cabin to feature a light beige finish over the Swift’s black interior theme. The spy shots also reveal 2 adjustable headrests for rear seat passengers and a manually adjustable inside rear view mirror. Other features we could expect in the new Dzire include:
Digital instrument cluster
3-point seatbelts for all passengers
6 airbags in top variants
Head-up display
Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
Wireless charger
The global-spec Swift was showcased with Level-2 ADAS (advanced driver assistance system), and we could expect a few features like lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking to trickle down to the India-spec Dzire 2025 and Swift 2024.

The new Maruti Dzire may come with Suzuki’s new 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine codenamed the Z12. The new engine is likely to produce 82PS of power and 108Nm of torque.
