SUV Pricing CRISIS: The Shocking Cost Buyers Can’t Afford!

Need to go too a kiosk, custom order your vehicle, when it's made, go pick it up. Delete dealers. We would like a Tahoe, Yukon or Suburban. I don't want OnStar, I don't want an EV or hybrid, or 90% of the gimmicks and gadgets that just fail. Give me a vehicle with power mirrors, power windows, a simple am/fm radio and rubber floors. We're good

People believe they need the space, nice to have, but if you can't afford an SUV, buy a car. A new Camry can be bought for 30K

Inflation is at the root of all this. Income disparity is increasing dramatically in America. People have to begin to accept lower standards of living from now on. There has been a huge transfer of wealth from the middle and lower classes to the wealthiest in society. Not everyone can afford to buy or maintain an SUV. That is the stark reality.

Most of these SUVs are really based on cars. You basically buying a jacked up car.

Yeah but the hatch makes them so much better than a car for that reason. I would rather buy a car based SUV than a car for sure like that Crown signia over the sedan

In addition to the fact that cars cost too much and the manufactures are not listening to what consumers want and can perform the reliability is horrible. For the prices they are charging the reliability has to be come much better going forward yet it seems as though the reliability is getting worse with all of the recalls

SUVs roll over in all kinds of accidents. Former auto claims adjuster. If people were auto claims adjusters for 3 months they would NEVER buy SUVs unless they were going off roading

I’m getting a new SUV $14k off MSRP & its still overpriced… at least I can write off the depreciation but STILL TOO EXPENSIVE TBH

New suv: msrp $50k + $5k mark-up + $5k added features + $2k hidden fees = total added $12k Listing for: $62k with $5k discount = still making $7k over msrp and will even gets higher if you take a longer financing term.
