Just returned yesterday from Arches Nat Park. First time, so I'm still on cloud nine. Back home in Rock Springs, until next week. Then a few days camping at the Bonneville Salt Flats. The history of the Land Speed Record is there. Will "Speed Demon" be the first to break the 500 MPH barrier? I guess I'll see! This video was special for me. My new home.

Just got home from Harper's Ferry, WV for a work trip. That area is gorgeous in West Virginia's Eastern panhandle. It has a tri point too, right on the Potomac River with Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia. The area is gorgeous and has a ton of history. I want to go back!

Tristan, I very much enjoy your videos and seeing these remote places that many can't access. But I have a request for the viewer's benefit: When you are at a place like the three corners or the dunes, please stop and show the information signs for two seconds. That way, a viewer can freeze the video and read the information if they want to. Thanks!

we have old land cruiser and there is full time 4wd which is easier to drive without binding and then there is standard 4wd which is usually activated by a button, you don't need to go from fulltime 4wd which is distributing power 80/20 to 4 low, you can go to standard 4wd which is 50/50 power to front and back...tristan look for that 'button' to engage normal 4wd power ratio to 50/50

Lamproite is the material that the diamonds are formed in at The Crater of Diamonds State Park in Arkansas (the only diamond mine in the world that's pen to the public to come and dig your own diamonds). The lamproite diamonds are roughly 30% harder than the kimberlite diamonds you find at other volcanic areas. Too bad it's sectioned off...I would love to prospect some in that area and do some rockhounding. Beautiful footage, as always. Thanks for the fun adventure.

What i ((appreciate)) the most about your videos, Tristan, is all the time, gas & physical energy it takes for you to set-up your camera(s) for the shots of you driving or hiking by, then having to back-track to gather it all up ! All that effort surely does make for (more) interesting content. Also: fly the drone as much as possible when no one is around ! Pretty sure the critters don`t mind a brief fly-by & probably regard it as just a big insect....THANKS so much !

I enjoy your videos. I have been there, I know the wind. Last time I was though there going north from Ft Colln ,Colorado then west to drop down into Salt Lake.. I nearly ran out of gas in spite of a full tank. The wind dropped my MPG down by half. Keep that in mind. Incidentally I drove non stop (except for fuel and pit stops) all the way to Monterey Ca on that trip. 20 Hrs. Thanks... No One.

Great video! I lived in Rock Springs from 1981-83 ( attending WWCC). I recently drove through last month. Rock Springs will always be a fond memory in my heart. Although I was lucky to hike up Boars Tusk 40 years ago - I wasn’t able to see a lot of the other sites during my time there .As I drove through last month I realized I missed out on exploring the county - both because of reliable transportation and many of the hiking trails just didn’t exist back then. Thanks for bringing Sweetwater county alive - lots of history and scenery there.

I spent a summer living in a trailer at 41.396275°N -108.728462°W in 1972. The northern end of Pine Mountain was our backdrop to the East. I saw numerous antelope and wild horses. I also was hailed on July 4th and the hail turned into a brief snow flurry as the hail chilled the down draft air column. I also saw a long rope-like tornado that travelled east and dissipated over Pine Mountain.

From what I understand, those lines represent tallies. The horse above, makes me think they sold, trained or grazed horses/cattle. Where baskets are made, they keep tally that way.
