The bit about Janet's mother being afraid to die in case she met her husband really hit home with me. I used to feel the same way about meeting my father when I died. Then a few months ago my mother in law started to come through to me, after me telling her I really wanted to put right the rather distant relationship I had with her. That started a wonderful healing for us both, and she is now my go to person on the other side. I can't wait to meet her again and give her a big hug. So.. this started me thinking that if I could heal that relationship with my mother in law, then I could heal this relationship with my father too. I was scared to do that, but at the same time I wanted to see if it was possible. So I finally plucked up the courage to ask him to connect with me. I told him I didn't want to call him Dad or father, or call him by his name. Then the word Tad popped into my head. Tad is the Welsh word for dad. (We are both Welsh) Perfect! It acknowledged what he was to me, but it had no emotional connections for me. I asked him to give me signs that Tad was ok with him, (and really I wanted a sign that I was connecting with him) I was driving along the motorway at the time. I then saw about 6 sign posts that said Tad caster! What perfect timing! He also came through to a medium in a spiritualist church and identified himself as Tad. Since then I have been talking to him and on a couple of occasions I felt overwhelming compassion for him. The fear has gone. I wouldn't say it has been replaced with love, but it has been replaced with understanding, compassion and an openness to building a relationship with him, with the soul that is him. The soul that came to this life on earth and lived a life where he was abused, abusive, unloved and unloving. I want to meet that soul and tell him how courageous he was to take on such a role. He and I came into this world knowing we were coming in to abusive fathers. I was lucky, my abuse led to a spiritual awakening and love for my children. The hate and fear in his life never left him, but now I know he is in a place where he is surrounded by healing, compassion and unconditional love. I want to be a small part of that healing with him.

This is so beautiful! Thank you for sharing this. How wonderful that you now understand the larger context/ reality! It’s powerful evidence that healing can happen on both sides of the veil. Blessings to both you and Tad

What a beautiful story of healing, Juliet. Although Sanaya has repeatedly said that we never come to this human realm with the intention to hurt another, there are those who take on more challenging lives in which being abused or becoming an abuser are possibilities. They have also said that these souls who choose such challenging lives "are the bravest of the brave." Thank you for sharing.

@@SuzanneGiesemann The moment when I finally felt I had forgiven my father came when I suddenly knew what a courageous thing he had done in coming into this role and I knew that because of that role he played in my life, I had come to know the incredible joy and love of source.

What a beautiful conversation. Suzanne I enjoyed your chat with Janet immensely and am presently reading her book 'where two worlds meet'. What a beautiful soul and a legacy of love for all. I have been observing non-evidential mediumship for a long time and after going to a spiritualist church here in the UK last week for Remembrance Day, was saddened that the congregation were just happy to receive vague morsels. I guess they don't know what they don't know. I am eternally grateful for having taken your training Suzanne and am forging ahead with my own mediumship. Putting my big girl's pants on and taking the leap! Loving blessings from beautiful North Yorkshire in the UK 🤗🙏💝

One month after my mother died in 2001, I got a reading with Janet. Most of it made sense, some of it didn't. Overall, it was a good reading and she was very nice. However, I really wanted to know more. I e-mailed Janet thanking her and asking for a follow-up reading. Sadly, she declined and recommended that I seek another medium. So, I never received another reading because I could not find another medium. To this day, I miss my mom very much and have no peace.

I thought all earthly problems, I.e. violence, hate, etc we’re gone once one got to the other side, why would her Mom interpret her husband “coming for her” as something negative?
@SuzanneGiesemann2 жыл бұрын
I just listened again to that portion. Her mother ~ still living ~ reported to Janet that she'd had a choice in whether or not she had to interact with her deceased and abusive husband. Being "allowed" to make that choice was very empowering for Janet's mother in *this* life. When we are fully spirit, those earthly problems are left behind. It was very healing for Janet's mom *and* Janet to know that a lifelong fear had been assuaged by this contact. It was ultimately a very positive experience.

I wish the guests would refrain from expressing how awful someone’s death was. It makes me feel even more unsettled about what’s coming, since watching my own mother have a long unpleasant process before her death …honestly I look forward to the afterlife, but it’s ending of physical life that I find myself nervous about…. I only listen to medium shows to hear some hopeful messages about the afterlife…. just sayin- blessings & love to you ~

Dear m L, I know this can be a terrible fear for many. I hope you will take a few moments and watch this video. Our souls are never hurt, never damaged, no matter what happens in this life. Here's the short video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/r4i1doaCatlparc Another one you might be interested in is my interview with Lesley Lupo, who experienced herself leaving her body in the midst of a terrible accident. She ~ the real Lesley ~ watched herself on the ground being kicked to death by horses and it looked so funny to her that she laughed about it. We are deeply attached to these bodies, but that is not who we really are. I understand your fear. It's very common, but I hope you will come to trust that all is well.
