I have to say that I have not been into all of Suzanne Vega's type of folk, but this song is totally superb! She is very talented of course but I am older and grew up with the type folk of Joan Baez and Judy Collins, or more traditional folk. This song by Suzanne is really, really good! I also like "Luka" a lot.

@crazycrow76 I must admit I never heard the album itself, only the couple of tracks that radio and mtv played (back when Mtv meant *something* to music, even if far from an entirely good thing). As best as I remember they seemed 'slicker', more rhythm dominate (which I usually don't like) too much attitude/too little heart... as best as I remember. Maybe I should check out that album /some of her later work. There's just so much stuff out there to get to!

Those headphones she's got on are the same ones I got on -same model- & bought some 20 years ago. (I still see them all the time online, on tv, seeing people 'in the studio'.) Every once in a while they rattle,one side or the other. Then I take them off & give them a shake &, usually, the rattle disappears.
