One of my most favourite songs off this album was 'History of the Other Side' and 'Zombie' (I also really really liked 'The Revenant Choir' off this album but thats a re-do of an old song of yours...) -- I learned to play a lot of these songs by ear and watching some of your live videos and demo's on YT but my fingers cant move as fast ^_^ Massive Versailles fan! but every album after Noble lacked the same powerful big Hizaki energy :(

Es un asunto complicado. Kamijo se ha convertido en el Gakt del metal sinfónico japonés, con un ego tan desmedido que cree que no necesita una banda alrededor. Hizaki sigue tan genial y prolífico como siempre, pero es hiperactivo, incapaz de centrarse en un proyecto seriamente. Por eso funcionaba tan bien Versailles: porque con Kamijo como front-man, Hizaki pudo centrarse y hacer seis discos con la misma banda, lo cual es para él una proeza. En cuanto Kamijo se marchó, Hizaki volvió a sus andadas de proyectos en solitario, con una banda que en realidad no es una banda sino él con Teru y músicos que van y vienen... Estos dos se tienen que poner de acuerdo. Kamijo ha hecho cosas muy buenas en solitario pero también muy extravagantes, repetitivas y con unas carencias musicales enormes (no es mal compositor, pero es un compositor "de melodías" que tararea y alguien convierte en partitura: Kamijo sólo tiene unos rudimentos de guitarra y de piano muy muy básicos, y eso se nota). Los otros cuatro miembros de Versailles sí tienen una formación musical sólida, y además Hizaki y Teru saben componer. Kamijo los necesita para volver a hacer cosas de calidad (no pretenciosos y repetitivos discos concepcuales sobre los Borbones vampíricos). E Hizaki y Teru neceistan a Kamijo porque el proyecto Jupiter murió el día en que salieron Yuki y Masashi.

@@marcoflaminio845 naa, el último álbum de Jupiter es espectacular con un power metal muy directo y bien hecho, además adentrándose en el death metal melódico más que nunca y Kuze le da mil vueltas a Kamijo como cantante metal. Me encantaría que le pusieran más empeño a revivir el canal de Jupiter para que más gente conozca semejante bandota en este espectacular auge de metal japonés que se está dando en internet, pero al parecer Hizaki no está muy en la labor y eso es una pena.

@@elquecomecallado Hizaki perdió todo interés por Jupiter tras la salida de Masashi y Yuki. Contrataron un nuevo bajista que ni siquiera tuvo interés en terminar de grabar el disco, después ni se han molestado en nombrar otro bajista oficial en la banda (señal de que no tienen planes de futuro para el grupo), y el propio material del disco estaba ya compuesto antes de que Zin se marchase (de hecho, un par de canciones las llegó a grabar Zin y salieron como single). Hizaki es un genio hiperactivo, pero es patológicamente inconstante. A lo largo de su carrera ha estado en no menos de seis bandas, y las únicas estables han sido Versilles y la primera fase de Jupiter. Es incapaz de centrarse si no tiene una referencia fuerte a su lado que compense su ego, y esa referencia era Kamijo. Hizaki necesita a Kamijo para darle estabilidad a su hipercapacidad de trabajo. Y Kamijo necesita a Hizaki porque, aunque es igual de trabajador e hiperactivo, le falta base musical. Alguien que no es capaz de tocar ningún instrumento en condiciones no puede llevar una carrera en solitario en la que asume el rol de compositor, sin caer en la monotonía. Y ese es el caso de Kamijo. Sin Hizaki y Teru, Kamijo depende de sus arreglistas para componer (Kamijo sólo compone melodías, no sabe componer partituras de batería, bajo, guitarra y teclado). Y los arreglistas que utiliza en su carrera en solitario van y vienen de un disco a otro, y a veces dejan mucho que desear. Por Dios, que Hizaki y Kamijo retomen su alianza ya. Versailles fue mucho más que un grupo, fue un prodigio y un milagro.

I do not care how he dresses I would see any show he did with VERSAILLES or Jupiter or solo. I'd prefer Versailles to come to America. BUT Hizaki never comes to America. I am bummed. He ranks in my not so humble opinion as one of the best guitar players on Earth. I'd put him in the top 10 or 20 at the least.
