She's beautiful, she plays long scale bass guitar so the bottom octaves can be heard (as they should be) I've listened to these video clips trying to figure out why she isn't more famous. A real hit other bands start to do covers of their material. She needs a Blockbuster hit. Go for it Suzie you can pull off a big hit yet. The years have been kind to Suzi Q. She still looks great and sounds great. She is currently working on a new CD entitled "Singing with Angels" scheduled to be released in America and U.K. soon. Also Suzi is going to begin a summer tour, starting in the U.K. in July, the Czech Rep. and Belgium in August. From there she goes to Australia for a Country wide tour starting in September.

Yes, it beats me why Suzy wasn't a smash in the U.S. Maybe she was before her time. Her rock girl persona predated The Runaways, The Go Gos and The Bangles, even Joan Jett and her Blackhearts. Always great songs and a gret performance. She should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for her pioneering

Not really American music, she was largely ignored in the states. I think she had one top 10 song and that was a duet...Stumbling In. I think if you look at the charts you'll find she was much more popular in UK and Oz...her song "She's in Love with You" has a very European feel.

She married her long time Lead Guitarist Husband Len Tuckey in 1976, They have 2 Chilredn Daughter Laura born in 1982 and Son Richard Leonard born in 1984. Her and Tuckey divorced in 1992 and She remarried in 1993 to German Producer Rainer Hasse who did alot of her later videos plus produces alot of her curreent concerts.
