This is the way I ride my 2016 GSXS-1000F. 12,000 miles and no mods. I keep the rpm's in the 7-9000 range when cornering and it makes it easier to manipulate the throttle except in 1st gear.

Have you had your ECU flashed? Because when I rode the demo bike the throttle was so jerky compared to it's little brother or the GSXR'S even the Hayabusa is smoother than the GSX-S1000F that I got to ride. I literally couldn't trust it in the corner because it was so sensitive that even barely moving my hand would upset it the bike was reacting to input that other bikes I've ridden weren't fazed by and I didn't even know was there because I was 98% sure my hand wasn't moving.... I keep seeing people giving these bikes good reviews and I'm wondering what was wrong with the one I rode because it was just not an enjoyable experience when I wanted to keep throttle application steady it didn't want to cooperate.

Yes, my ECU is flashed, but this is Modell 2016 ECU, Modell 2015 ECU have your-this Problem. 2016 ECU is better!

WienerAgent I was riding the 2016 lineup so I doubt it was a 2015 ECU problem but it might have been I wish I had had time to try the non faired version that they had there to see if I liked that better. Honestly with how shitty the gas mileage is I don't know if I'll need a liter bike I know I'm definitley looking at an FZ-09, GSX-R750, or Daytona 675 or the R model if I have the $ as the next addition although most likely not the FZ-09 since I really have a craving for the effortless ability that the supersports give you to carve corners.

Yep, spot on, the fuelling on the 2015/16 bikes is awful. On steady throttle openings it's so jerky it feels like the bike's broken. I even had a Rapid Bike fueling unit fitted but it doesnt help as that only overlays a fuelling map over the top of the shit ECU one, so there's no actual way to improve it. The GSXS1000 was clearly released to the market unfinished. Yet another Suzuki build disgrace. If it's not collapsing sub-frames, its ECUs that aren't fit for purpose HOWEVER! Suzuki released an upgraded ECU in Sep/Oct 16 for all new bikes and those that are under warranty - you're entitled to have the old (shit) ECU swapped out FREE OF CHARGE! I did mine and the difference is HUGE and I mean huge. There's still some lumpiness in 5/6th but nothing like before. The fuelling has a slight glitch when moving from steady throttle to a slight closure, where it can be prone to big jerks, but it's rare and it's mostly much smoother and jerk 'free' :-) Mostly. Go get the ECU upgrade. It makes this a worthy bike again.

Snatchy throttle easily fixed by simply adjusting the TPC sensor.
