Suzuki GT750A Full nut and bolt restoration and start up of a 45 year old motorcycle

Suzuki GT750A First registered in early 1977 and one of the last A spec bikes before a few styling changes were made and they became B models. This is a picture by picture video of my bike being restored, the bike is 45 years old and has been stood for 27 years since it was last started.

Very nice result, but may I ask how it's ascertained as to when the gears are ok and nicely still lapped in or worn enough to perhaps occasionally jump out of gear ?

Hi Michael, this bike has been meticulously rebuilt by Suzuki GT750 guru Peter Ormrod and his knowledge of these bikes is second to none, check out his KZbin Channel as he has step by step video's of how he painstakingly rebuilds these classic bikes

Congrats on owning a special bike.. I hope mine could look that nice in time. Is that the stock exhaust with baffles in? Its sounds great. Also, did you replace the points system to electronic?

Exhausts are a new set of Delkavics and the ignition has been replaced with electronic ignition

Hi Lars, thanks for your comment, this is one of Peter Ormrods builds, and everything where possible is re-chrome unless it is totally beyond repair.
