Nice video, however I feel like you shifted too early. The engine has peak power @ 6400 rpm, it'll easily do 7000. This also allows you to reach 100km/62m in second gear, making for a shorter 0-100/62 time.

I did many tries, at least 10. Trust me I tried higher revs but then I felt the car losing power. And also tried reaching 100km/h in second gear but was not possible!

@@AutoAccelerationHD Ah fair cool. I seem to be able to reach 100 in second gear. Revving it in the red. I've never actually tried with GPS so I could be going 95 with the car saying 105. And yeah you'll lose some power after 6500 rpm, but the idea is to reach 100 before the shift. Isn't optimal in every gear I'd say haha. The speclist suggests it would do 0-100 in 8.9 I believe, but thats quite optimal conditions I assume. Anyways, thanks for the reply ;)

@@AutoAccelerationHD It shouln*t be like that, maybe your airfilter is dirty or your engine has too much carbon build up,. If the previous owner didn't rev it, that could be the case. but it should go better at higher revs.

I have gone 0 - 100 in 8.19 in my ignis sport with dragy. If only I didn't have to change to third gear!

anywhere there is acceleration as it's 16v so runs at a higher frequency meaning it is "nippy" same reason the suzuki called their other car "swift"

I have the basic 1.3L and I love the car. Many people in the comments said thats its good in corners so i was wandering if the sport had different suspension because the non sport version really leans in the corners. Still okay in corners just idk doesnt seem amazing.

@@jurajbenacka1464 Yes, the sport has a lower and firmer suspension. But it’s not amazingly good and still has some body roll but of course it handles better than the non sport model.

Omg I had one of them about 16 years ago, nearly new. Quick but terrible gearing, it was doing nearly 4k rpm at 70. Soon got rid.
