If those are the standard summer tyres on it, they've delt amazingly with that snow. You will see that with proper snow tyres you'll get a lot more places much easier. And if you lift it with aftermarket springs and put some off road tyres on it like I did you will do 80% of what a Jimny is doing. Many happy miles! 😊

Thinking about Allgrip, then I saw your video and decided no. Thanks

Allgrip is no grip on snow and ice... Only proper winter tires work on snow and ice.

Thanks for posting, we haven’t had any bad weather since I bought the ignition!

I just bought an ignis Allgrip, i live up in the woods in the Chamonix valley in the Alps, but I'm from Sheffield, so i know the roads you were driving on, I'm very impressed so far, i have winter tyres, but made it up to our house with 30cm snow on the ground... Not tried the buttons yet, just on way home from buying it. I'd definitely recommend winter tyres though. Great video thanks

Bought mine after watching this ,thanks for posting , I love it ,it did really well on the North Yorkshire Moors in snow last winter ,a little star ⭐

We don't really get enough snow to warrant the expense of winter tyres in the UK. When there's snow about I usually carry some sacking or carpet plus a shovel! Never needed a four wheel drive.

Great performance by ignis taking in to account the normal tires, the height of the snow and category of the car which is a B-SUV. Perhaps should be my next car.

thanks for the video , i have just purchased an allgrip ignis and it is fitted with bridgestone ecopia tyres 175/60/16 are these the same tyres you refer to as normal. i hope so as they did seem to manage some steep slippery slopes similar to where i live in the northumbria north of england unexpectedly i found it really difficult to obtain all season tyres in this size and also i was surprised to learn from the tyre fitter that i must change all 4 tyres to avoid damage to the drivetrain struggling to understand the science behind this but the handbook confirms it anyway the ignis is probably not as good in snow as my old panda 4x4 was but that would take some beating by a lot of awd/4wd vehicles impressive video

Thanks for posting - considering the car on fitted with standard summer tyres ( Bridgestone Ecopias ? ) I'm impressed with how it drove in those conditions. I've been considering buying either the Swift allgrip or Ignis allgrip for a while now but have always found it strange how Suzuki didn't standard spec all season tyres on these cars . Also wondering how quickly the front screen de- ices when iced up ?

The Suzuki Swift AllGrip might have done a better job as it has wider tyres but still impressive and if i lived in Scotland the Ignis or Swift AllGrip would but the only two cars I'd consider (although the Ignis will most likely be discontinued soon) just imagine if you had Michelin cross climate tyres 🤯

A good tyres choice could be Falken Euroall as210 (175/60/r16). I've just bought them and until now, they perform really well. They are All Terrain (M+S).

Here you loose your drivers license if you go out on snow and ice with summer tires... A friend of mine demonstrated what a little Mazda 323 AWD with 300hp could do (with real winter tires of course, never drive on snow and ice without), he found a short steep hill that had 50cm with loose snow pushing through and stopped middle of the hill, then started going again with snow coming over the top of the bonnet... I would not made it 20cm up that hill even with my Fuck wheel drive car...

Love my Ignis....can winter tyres be used all year round?
@4X4-RADIO6 ай бұрын
Given UK climate is unpredictable "All Season" are a good option., use all year round.
@a6473829 күн бұрын
Yes if they are without spikes... But winter tires will wear out crazy fast in summer and give so bad grip that it should really be illegal. I drive with spike less winter tires now on my Ford Transit Box van in summer and I have to driver like it is on snow and ice in the summer, breaking distance 2 and sometimes 3 times longer then normal.

@@a64738 why not try Michelin cross climate tyres they perform just as well as most premium summer tyres in summer and as good as a mid-range winter tyre in winter !
