60k is nuts. We have one built in South Africa for a little over 35k. It’s also a turbo’d unit..built beautifully.

Agreed. We have the 5 door with all the frills and tassels for far less than that. To be fair, in SA we have a very supportive Zook community and lovers.

You lost me at 'just under £60,000' as if it's a bargain. Jimny is a great car anyway, doesn't need all that extra money pumping into it. Bonkers.

Love the Jimny but £60 k 😀🤪😀. My Isuzu D'max Yukon was only £23,000 (+vat) . 5years in it's still worth what I bought it for in part exchange ! This Jimny is in a stupid price zone ! Such a shame !

A more powerful engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission are all the Jimny needs to be the perfect vehicle. Here in Brazil, people install mechanical compressors and it gets 190HP, but this installation costs 1/4 of the vehicle's value.

Great car - I own a standard Jimny SX5 - but this is way too much money. Save a bundle, go standard. Just as much fun and spend the difference on travels. Mine's been across most of Europe. Best bit is that it is completely unfazed by conditions, weather or roads. Nice to see Vicky again, met you once at Bruntingthorpe when I had a 964RS there.

Think it’s worthwhile saying you can add things as you like so you don’t need to part with the full £60k to get one - I’d be happy with just the engine and suspension upgrades which is more like £20k

I absolutely adore the Jimny, and while more power (specifically torque) wouldn't go amiss, that is ALL the Jimny wants for (IMO). All the other (ahem) "improvements" are completely unnecessary for the type of vehicle the Jimny, is and the type of journeys it is going to be used for. Just a means for Twisted to extract the maximum profit from their wealthy clients (I wonder if they offer just the turbo?). £60k is absolutely mental, buyers would need to have a screw loose and/or more money than sense!. The fact that no mention of just how ludicrous that price is shows that this is not in any way an objective review. 1100kg is not at all light for a car of the Jimny's dimensions (a result of it having a separate chassis), Suzuki's own (and slightly bigger in length and width) Ignis is 200kg less than that in current form.

My missus bought one of these....insurance company didn't want to touch it. Guys at the roof rack place wouldn't install the racks themselves because they were worried the roof would collapse under load. It's a shitty storage unit whole we figure out what to do with it

Bigger tyres mean altered gearing, and raises the centre of gravity. Add the two together, and you have something that is not the real article, struggling to get off the mark, and trying its best to stay upright...

I do NOT like the Twisted front design of the Jimny, I like the original Jimny design which reminds a bit of Jeep, in some countries you can get a "real" "Jeep" front for the Jimny, very nice !

Good afternoon Vicky so basically what you're saying is that twisted have made the car that it should always have been in the first place. I've had a chimney convertible and several Vitaras and they should have always been like this. I'm very recently I bought two new Suzukis which are the swift and the s cross and they have come on leaps and bounds since a few years ago.. my only negative comment is the fact that it's 60,000....cheers Phil from Newark

in india we have 5-seater version an we call it soap box. because of poor build quality , ugly looking and can even go proper off road compared to Mahindra , Force , Jeep compass and etc. this vehicle is a death trap. in recent collision with Mahindra pickup turned this junk into 2-seater from 5-seater version.
