Suzuki RM465 getting ready for cylinder plating

I had a bike just like that, it was the 1982 Suzuki RM465Z, I got it brand new in 1982, I was 22 years old and I paid $2,495 for it. I had it for 8 years until 1990, then I sold it. It was the best bike I ever had, never broke down on me one time in 8 years. All I did was put a new top end on it every winter and it ran like a top. Started 2nd kick cold, and 1st kick warm, every time. Really fast bike too, I could barely keep the front wheel on the ground in every gear but 4th, because it was a 4 speed, 4th gear was actually 5th gear, in 1982 they just got rid of 1st gear so then it was a 4 speed.

That piston looked like my kdx 175 piston which I had bore over to 200. Maybe it's just the camera angle.

Are you blind, that piston is huge, it is as big around as an oil can.
