Extremely impressive work. I'm in the process of restoring a 1974 RV125 myself. I'm from UK but now in Canada. I'm having difficulty sourcing parts. I have managed to get quite a lot from ebay; however, I hit a wall with tires and rear shocks. Could you recommend a source or sources for these parts and RV parts in general. Or, are other Suzuki shocks interchangable with the RV? Cheers.

Hi, thanks for the comment. I'm struggling for tyres myself right now. I search Ebay and other places constantly for all sorts of parts, and especially tyres. I restore all of the original Suzuki shock and haven't ever bought after market ones before. However they are readily available from most motorcycle accessory shops.

I spoke with you via email a while back on the spacer thickness for installing a rear rim to a front hub and for the life of me I can't find the info again. Do you know the thickness off hand?

I've tried zinc plating all the old fixings but its hit it miss if they turn out good enough, so instead I now use all stainless steel wherever I can.

This bike is now up for sale again by the new owner. He's asking £4k for it. It's still in totally mint condition just as he received it from me a few months ago. If you are interested his name and number is Oliver 07877 387039.
