Suzuki swish125/acess125 share the same engine .i haven't found any video about Suzuki scooters in youtube so i thought to make some useful videos that helps the owners like me to maintain their scooters in proper condition .please refer your owner manual first before performing these kinda tasks.and this video is to show you some basics .about the how the oil filter and oil need to be changed .comment your quires in comment section

suzuki access and swish need 1000ml of engine oil with filter change...not 800ml..check the scooter manual last pages specifications section..

i used castrol 800 ml bottle engine oil for regular oil change not changed the oil filter . do i need 100 ml more or 800 ml is enough ??

900ml is required for access/swish if the oil filter is changed then extra 100ml so castrol 800ml is for activa or 110cc engines not for suzuki 125 I'm using this oil : amzn.to/2nKWTy3 (Affiliate)

Life21 Channel I brought 2 bottle castrol 10w-30 and pored 800 from first bottle and pored 100 ml from second with the help of a measuring jar i kept remaing 700ml for future use

check the oil level if its full no issue if it exceeds the maximum line remove the oil

Yes 1000ml when oil filter is changed and don't forget to remove the oil from filter sump

Nice work, thanks for the video. Can you help me with some suggestions on improving the milage of access 125, actually mine is 5 yrs old and it's giving only 35-38 kmpl, I regularly service it in the shop but still there is no improvement, the service people say that they have made the changes but when I check the milage it's still the same... so pls suggest some ideas, thanks

Reasons I'm guessing 1) Air fuel mix ratios might have been messed up I,e carburetor tuning if the mixture is rich you'll have pickup but less mileage if the mixture is thin engine gets too hot so try with a good scooter mechanic for carburetor tuning 2) Driving style ( 2nd most reason for low FE) Gentle with Acceleration and drive in economy zones 3) clean the carburetor ( let mechanics do it ) 4) check with wheels movement make sure the rotate smoothly .Sometimes brakes can be culprit (happened with mine ) 5) maintain recommended air pressure 6) Clogged air filter can also decrease FE 7) Fuel quality always Re fuel from the good petrol pumping stations cause of low quality and quantity can be a reason

Can i use motorcycle engine oil like Motul for access 125? also does the manual specify oil grades to use besides 10w30 according to different conditions?

you can use JASO MB grades for scooter but if you don't get them you can go with MA.I use Shell AX series 10w-30,20w-40,50 depends upon seasons and temperatures

Hey Life 21 , my gixxer sf has done with 3rd service. One thing bordered me SVC always give excuses for valve clearance check saying " Engine sound is ok no need of that " . Should i force them to do this check or it is really ok and not to worry about ? . Also manual says to change spark plug at third service but they didnt since my bike only clocked 3000k.ms

+jonassx100 valve check is not mandatory every time . manual mentioned as also need to be considered .i told SVC to check for valve clearance when i observed the cam chain sounds are more louder than used to be they did checked up with cam chain and valves .after that i felt bike sound became more bassy as it was when i first brought .sprak plugs are no need to change as the bike was new and if you filling from a good reputed bunk.spark plug need to be changed when your bike is giving starting problems or facing the miss fires .for 3k Kms no needed ,this swish scooter has stock spark plug for 25k kms still no issues

hi i have all new suzuki access 125 i drove it from delhi to shimla. on plain roads it was fantastic as soon as hill started after chandigarh the pick up is too low . it looks like it does not have pressure in it wat to do. please rep fast as m still in shimla n need to go more far.

I'm suspecting 1) Air filter clogged 2) CVT belt slipping..it's common for scooter to have some stress while climbing the hilly roads compared to the manual transmission bikes climbing in the first gear as the gear ratios are different cause the CVT need momentum to get some torque.I experience this everyday cause my scooter needs to climb the ramp with 20ltr water can . after googling I've found similar info I hope it helps : If starting uphill from a stop, use the brake until the transmission engages (do NOT let the vehicle roll back as you push the throttle)Do not utilize the throttle to resist rolling backward (as people do with cars when on an incline)Use the brake to resist backward motion AND release the brake as you press down the throttleIf you must go up a steep hill, get a running start (don't try to start from a dead stop)If you are going to "coast" down a mountain for an extended periodDo NOT go faster than 15 mph (25 km/h) unless you remove the chain or driveshaftIf you are coasting for many kilometers, remove either the chain or the driveshaftWhen going down a steep hill, it is fine to allow the CVT to engage so that you have engine brakingIf possible, stop the BUV on flat ground or on a slight decline.If pointed uphill when parked, accelerate firmly for 1 second (this allows the belt to grab without slipping).If on a hill or heavily loaded, ask bystanders to help push the BUV into motion as you press the throttle (as people did with the Model T’s). sorry for the late reply, I assume that the problem with the handlebar just tell the mechanic to look for the play and my swish handle also have vibrations while in idling and initial acceleration I never bothered about it sometimes it goes so smooth after oil change air filter clean and if you find lot of vibrations and engine overheating kindly check the carburetor cleaning I hope it will help you .let me know further in detail so that I can understand more thank you for the comment and please do like share and subscribe

Life21 Channel: 1. Could u please let me know what should be done to stop the vibration while applying front brake. It is so annoying. If the rear brake is applied more there is no vibration. 2. I service my suzuki access 125 (UZ Model) for every 2000km. Now after seeing your channel and started to do it by myself.I changed the Air Filter = Rs:95, Motul 1Litre Oil (10 W30) = Rs: 270 and Oil Filter =Rs:25. Is this enough for a service or should I do something more. 3. I want a video for removing the side body of the suzuki access 125 UZ Model. 4. I have driven 23500km. Never changed the drive belt.Please suggest me for How many kms should the belt needs to be changed and I need a video to show how to replace it. The videos that are there in youtube other than you channel are not that much clear. Please help. 5. Need video for replacing Rear and front Brake shoes. 6. I could see there is oil leak near the brake oil section. PLease let me know what to do with a video. Please post clear video with clear audio in English or Tamil. Awaiting your help.... 1) If you're talking about the squeezing noise coming from front brakes I haven't figured out any solution my swish125 even after 38k kms on odo still running on OEM brake shoes on front since day one I'm getting this weird sound and it usually comes in morning and when the it rains heavy i observed this sound goes away after riding for few KM's but nowadays it's not the same case I'm looking to change the FRONT BRAKE SHOE .If it's bothering you take it to the mechanic and clean the drum and re place the shoe again 2) Check your service manual you'll find regular service intervals and parts that need to be changed and lubed or cleaned in a table with KMs/ or Days manner ..for normal i suggest to change air filter for every 5k km and oil filter for 8k-10k km's tire rotation for old swish and old access125 for every 5k km spark plug replacement if your bike is not starting even after few kicks and self-start ( mine replaced at 28k kms even though its working fine .i replaced at mechanic shop for peace of mind ) lube foot pedals and cables 3) Suzuki Access125 UZ model new access125? If I find it I'll try to make a video I own swish 125 4) Mechanic replaced my scooter belt at 30k km there is no expiry date for belts if they get worn out you should replace them it depends on how you maintain your scooter your scooter will move slow and you can sense belt skipping it might be cause of rollers in clutch or it will be cause of belt mechanics will open the belt with tools right now i don't have those tools some videos on youtube are pro level they're doing it mechanical level I'm trying to make videos on consumer level to understand as I'm an owner of one these scooters I'm making them as I understood and as per my knowledge 5) Rear brakes of my scooter are really messed up now I'll try to make video just waiting to get OEM shoes and Tools to get the job done 6)you mean rear brake drum area? wash with soap water if the leak continues it might be gear oil but there are very less chances of it normally mechanics apply oil in drums to lube the brakes shoes springs and shoes in order to run smooth in that case you can ignore that it just an oil stain not actually leak like engine oil drops cause brake oil is around 10ml max and it won't leak normally I'm confused with your statement about brake oil ??? unless you've front disc brake with oil reservoir Thanks for the feedback I'll try to Improve audio quality as I'm not fluent in English cause it's not my native sometimes I fear about making mistakes in making videos in English decided to not to fake accent

I forgot to put the small o-ring in the oil filter hole....and closed it and added engine oil as normal...any problems...my engine is running...normal

nahi bhai early morning scooter ka oil sump mein collect hota hain do not start the scooter and open the filter and re insert the ring if any oil comes out collect it in a clean bowl and refill it else top up with new oil ..but do not tilt the scooter agar kia to oil bahar anne lagti hain .center stand par lago early morning and open karke ring lagao ..do not remove bottom drain bolt oil saara nikalne ka jarurath nahi hain ..
