Im holed up with sciatica. Cant ride. Its good to watch you blokes get out and ride. Im in West Australia deep in the south. Nearest city is 90 miles away. Nearest town is 10 miles . Vast empty roads though many are dirt. Different here as mid size bikes cant eat up the miles of straight roads. Ive had a zx14 r for 15 years and a big cruiser for two up. Parts of WA are busy from Perth down coast to holiday tourist spot Margaret River. Rest is empty. You need a bike that reins in the horizon or rolls effortlessly through. No motorways, no villages down winding lanes, no lines of parked hatchbacks taking up half the road. Downside is less cafes to ride to, less historic places of interest, less walks through woods. I ve experienced the traffic in the south of England so thats not missed. I was in Woltshire in the 90s and was amazed at the difference in 2015. Years ago it was a rural place with an ancient vibe. Nice to watch other older riders still swing a leg over. Your road through the Downs is more like where I live, in wheat belt. Open country, sometimes roads follow farm boundaries. A farm is usually 4000 acres.

1) Very good to go very slow around horses. More people should follow your lead. Well done. In most Commonwealth countries horses have right of way. 2) The King's Oak was visited by King Arthur king of the Britons during his quest with the knights who say Nee to find the Holy Grail. I learned that at school, Thanks. 3) That breakfast looked lovely. Mushroom, tomato, sausages, British baked beans, bacon and eggs. Perfect. A hot cup of tea would have really set it off. 4) Lovely sunny day. I am pleased for Her Majesty that She sent HRH Prince Philip off on such a lovely day. It must have been a help on such a hard day for her.

Colin's Bullet might have been the slowest bike on the road that day, but it was great to hear his single thumping away! I like the look of your tank bag. Mine is about 15 years old, and has seen better days. Can you give me the model of your bag, so I can look out for it, please? Sadly my one is no longer available.
