Hey great vid - terrific little bike that one, I still have mine (first bike) along with larger bikes these days and when I take it for a spin, it always surprises me what a fun capable little machine it is, always puts a smile on my face. I even still put it in some of my videos heheh! Looks like in the comments you sold yours - have you moved onto another bike? Happy days mate!

Christian Amour thanks! I sold the bike in Nov 2018. I miss that little bike. It was a good bike!

Lord Claudius I sold the bike in Nov 2018 to a happy new owner but yes I did do a good job with the sound of the muffler. Sounded good for a little 250! I miss that bike.

love the video. I recently bought a VL250 and was wondering what your gear to speed ratios are. I think there is something wrong with mine as I struggles to get to 80, the engine is screaming at this speed, and yes it's in 5th. I can't wait to hit the open road but concerned that I will be more of a nuisance if I am holding up traffic.

250s are like that....could gear it up, and tune it for hp. Wish they did that and added 6th gear from factory. Might not use 6th in hilld and wind but when you can it would be nice

@@putheflamesou wait your bike is "screaming" at 80kmph? I have one and 80 in 5th is pretty tame. It's honestly only when I get to 100 that it's a little pushed. Though I commute at 100 quite often. Idk, sounds like your bike has something really wrong with it.
