k I’ve seen people talk about Suzy being overrated but I honestly think she’s under appreciated instead. yes, people know she has a great vocal, she’s extremely pretty, she can act, model, dance, she’s an all rounder. but we don’t appreciate her talents as much as we let on. FYI for all the people saying it sounds like Bad Liar or how she copied or plagiarized it. Bad Liar is a sampled song. Selena Gomez used a sample so the song/copyright isn’t hers. She doesn’t own the song/full rights to it. Suzy used the same sample because like anyone else, if she gets permission from the owner she can to. That’s why they sound the same. Same sample, same sound. She didn’t copy Selena since it wasn’t Selena’s song to begin with but okay. Just because two songs sound alike doesn’t mean one person stole it from the other. There’s samples, similar beats, melodies, chords, arrangements, and not to mention billions of songs out there, one song is going to sound like another it’s inevitable. With that said don’t blindly go around accusing people without knowing the facts. Besides the chorus and those 8 beats throughout the song they sound nothing alike cut it out. When you sample a song one sample can sound exactly like another and no one can say/do anything about it because the samplers don’t OWN the sample. So really Suzy could’ve copied all of Bad Liar and no one could do anything about it because Bad Liar is sampled. 👌 EDIT: BTW the sample is called “Psycho Killer” by Talking Heads.
