Boruto let Himawari have the day with Naruto because he thought Sarada was going to be alone for the day so he said he would train with her but then obviously Sasuke made a unexpected visit. Also Boruto saying "yeah I guess you owe me now" or whatever it was to Sarada was just him teasing her not being mean.

this has its chronology in fact, Boruto planned from the beginning to give Hima all the day with his dad so him saying he had training was not an excuse. He was actually going to train with Sarada (since Sasuke wasn't supposed to show up), the two of them were going to spend the day together. When he saw that Sasuke was in the village, he told him where he was supposed to meet Sarada so that Sasuke could go spend some family time with her bc he knew how much she wanted that. That's why he was wandering alone around the village with nothing to do (and no excuses for being without Naruto). When the eating contest was over, he went to train by himself and there he meets Sarada again and the scene happens where she tells him that her dad doesn't know anything about her and he comforts her. In the end he did get to spend time with his dad but watching all 3 episodes always makes me feel sad for him, the way he put everyone's happiness above his own and didn't even seem to care that much until he realized he needed that day too. Btw, ly Suzy, glad u enjoyed watching this little arc, have a nice day!

Yeah, the episodes all take place on the same day (I was a bit confused by Suzy saying Naruto should participate when she'd already watched the episode that showed he did participate by spending all day with Himawari, but she remembered later), detailing various viewpoints and parts of the day in addition to which characters were involved.

Love Boruto and Sarada's relationship here. He was always planning to give Hima the entire day with Naruto but he also knew that Sarada would be alone on this day so he made plans with her to train together, that way she did not have to be alone for the whole day. Sasuke being here was a stroke of luck and unexpected, Boruto also did not hesitate to sacrifice his day and plans with Sarada so she can spend some time with Sasuke. Honestly whether you ship them or not they are one of the prime examples of a well written male and female friendship. And always watch Suzy, no need to ever skip if you are enjoying yourself, you are one of 3 reactors that did not skip everything and its been a absolute joy watching these with you. You add a fresh perspective to the show and I'd hate to lose it for the episodes if you skipped them. Can't wait for your reaction to 99-103, it's one of my fave arcs and can't wait to see you experience it. Fun fact this entire arc is a novel adaption but one story from that novel was not adapted sadly, that is Hinatas day with her dad and Hanabi. This arc plays of much earlier in the Novels timeline wise like pre chunnin exam. In the novel Hanabi and Hiashi try to convince Hinata to leave Naruto for a time and move into the Hyuga compound with both Boruto and Hima on acount of him being neglectful and absent. Not divorce him but just seperate for a tike untill he realizes how important family is and prioritizes Hinata and the kids. Wish we got that animated as we get some great scenes and important information in that day. 1) we learn that she never goes on missions anymore but she stayed in shape and fighting form by training Boruto and Hima since they where babies. 2) Hinata is concerned by the fact that Boruto is using his Ninja salaries to buy his own underwear, when Hanabi questions why that is bad Hinata reveals that Boruto buys Florecent pink underwear for himself and when she looks into his room at night "his butt glows in the dark". Hanabi aproves of Borutos underwear choice and tells Hinata he has good taste.

And my moment with my Dad since my parents divorced when I was 2. He accidentally forgot my birthday once, and the next year he took me and my older brother to 3 baseball games in a row. And we got a explore around Downtown San Diego with him. He got remarried about a year and half ago, and we still support each other however we can. You really have to remember Naruto and Sasuke are adults with responsibilities now so you can't just expect them to be like how they were when they were kids. You really have to take into account while Sasuke had his family before losing them only really got some attention from Itachi but it shouldn't have been Itachi's job to parent Sasuke as they still had their father but as we saw Fugaku was a terrible father to Sasuke always comparing his two children and only ever praising Sasuke if Sasuke accomplished some huge feat like Itachi in his youth but Sasuke shouldn't have had to work that hard to get a kind word from his father. So Sasuke had trauma even before losing his family as we saw he was a very antisocial child who only felt comfortable with his immediate family because there were no signs Sasuke had any friends at the academy before the massacre, so the fact that Sasuke wanted to dote on Sarada instead of training her the way his father did him goes to show Sasuke still carries those psychological scars and doesn't want the cycle to continue with his daughter because he doesn't want her to feel like how he felt with his dad but he didn't realize just how alike he and Sarada are and that training is exactly how she wants to bond with him since her goal is to become Hokage she aims to get stronger and she can only do that through training and unlike Fugaku Sasuke's not afraid to praise her directly without putting her down. When it comes to Naruto he had neither parent growing up so he has no idea what a normal nuclear family is like because he never had it always coming home to an empty house without someone cooking or fussing over him so how could he possibly know how to act like how a father would; Naruto had a lot of male mentors in his life whom he learned a lot from but none them lived with or raised him so having a father who was constantly there to give advice and prepare you to be a man was lost to him so it stands to reason Naruto doesn't really know how to do this with Boruto but it doesn't mean he doesn't love nor cares about his son he just believes that by putting his all into helping the village prosper he's taking care of his family as well because Naruto goes by Hiruzen's ideology that the whole village is family and for a long time that family was all Naruto had so now that he actually has one of his own Naruto's starting to learn that he needs to devote the same amount of time and energy for them that he does for the village because before Naruto didn't distinguish between the two lumping them both together instead of separately so now he can work on reforging the bond he had with his son which was never broken only strained. In short Naruto and Sasuke aren't out of character they're just developing further as men and as fathers, their development didn't just end in Shippuden.

The biggest misconception about Sasuke and Sakura's relationship is the lack of affection on screen. There are many hints about it but it's not shown. There are huge hints in the novels though. Outward affection isn't the only affection...but also it just fits their relationship. Private and behind closed doors away from prying eyes. Heck, it's canon they traveled together after Sasuke returned from his redemption journey. Fun little snippet in Sasuke's Story: Star Pupil novel, Sarada tricks Sasuke into thinking he has Sakura's lipstick on his mouth, and he couldn't help but try to wipe it off as if he knew how it got there. Then Sarada proceeds to tease him about how flustered he got about it. Also in this novel, Sasuke tells Sarada that they have pillow talks after Sarada has gone to bed to reassure her that her parents communicate. Of course, the most obvious story is Sasuke Retsuden (Sasuke's Story: The Uchiha and the Heavenly Stardust). It will be animated in Boruto...so I won't say much about it. Adapted from the novel. The manga is still being released bi-weekly. The last episode of Sasuke Retsuden will be released soon. Haha, hopefully, you'll get to watch it. If not, the novel and manga are great reads. (Novel is best IMO, because more details, sometimes important details that were omitted, and better pacing.) Ahhh, and in the family day novel when Sasuke and Sakura have that talk about how to communicate with Sarada, Sakura was giving Sasuke a haircut. Also...the "I'm home." When he shows up at their apartment...and him thinking that he has finally found his way home. Implying that even when he has been Konoha and with Sarada for hours already, Sakura is his home.

Boruto is a charismatic character on my opinion. i like Sasuke on Boruto. on OG Naruto and on Shippuden Sasuke was not one of my favorite characters. but he is one of my favorite characters on Boruto. in my opinion that was nice to see Sasuke trying to be the best father that he could be on this episode and in my opinion that was hilarious to see Kakashi trying to help Sasuke on this episode. in my opinion that was pretty fun to see your reactions andhear your thoughts to these family day episodes. i also think that was nice to see Sarada and Sasuke team work with the shurikens and i also think that was a nice end of episode seeing Boruto and Naruto training together.

That's because most of them are Anime Cannon which means it's all connected and the fillers are different their separate missions but the Ninja Scrolls is Cannon cause they did that on Naruto too both mangas their feel like filler and disconnected but their not it just a comedic relaxing arc before things get crazy The Calm Before the Storm just like Naruto you should never skip Anime Cannon or you'll get lost cause it all ties together in the Anime Story like Mitsuki and Ohnukis arc I wonder if shes going to go back yet its been a while

5:10 If you're curious, the novel this arc is taken from details the start of Family Day a bit more. This is (if I remember right) the first year they are having one (so indeed Sasuke has no idea about it until he is told, him being around was indeed apparently coincidence), and it was created in response to pressure from the influx of so many more regular citizens into Konoha over the years who wanted some more holidays off work. For ninja this was an alien concept, as to them days off were never planned like that to be on certain days, they were simply whatever days they didn't happen to have a mission. Still they come to appreciate it and Naruto endorses coming up with more scheduled holidays.

Are you waiting until the English gets way further ahead she never complained about any of the episodes so I don't think she would just give up and drop it she usually doesn't listen to haters or the trolls she's usually her own judge she laughed and smiled during Family Day and in the cooking episode and that was just early fillers usually the standalones are filler and most of the arcs are Anime Cannon which is why Mitsukis pursuit Arc was awesome we even got a death it's all connected in the Anime which is better cause Borutos Friends didn't get a lot of character development in the manga but in the Anime you were able to get to know and fall in love with these characters so when the time comes that they have their dramatic moments your able to feel for them so that's good. The fillers of Boruto don't contradict the story the way Naruto Shippuden fillers did. Maybe Suzy Luu is trying to finish Bleach First IDK because she claimed she'd return to her reactions after her wedding cause she was busy so I don't know what happened she's not responding to anyone's comments. I wonder if she'll even tell us cause I'm not far enough on Bleach yet to watch those reactions...,
