Oh wow, talk about kindred creative spirited minds- First thing: of course I know I didn’t invent this design LOL! But I DID make these from my own creative process, hadn’t seen the concept before (nor had my metalwork teacher in that day) inspired by hemp macrame but tweaked to a metal medium w/ my own creative style- I began designing various pieces in the late 90’s, including this ring style, chain links and bracelet pieces- this makes me want to get back into it! Sure there’s plenty of modern weaving techniques but this is the first time I ever saw another person make this, and I’m thrilled- I think this is awesome! Your jewelry is beautiful! I started macrame at age 9 and one day thought it would be amazing on metal- and yep, we’re right! 1st time ever that I’ve seen it made by another person- how awesome, this makes me so happy!

what was the point of taping the rings? The next second she was putting the rings on the wire loose?

She don't think she took the tape off, I think she just realized half way that taping them together would make it easier. Either that or she misplaced the 2 footages while editing.
