Yes, thank you for clarifying Gaurav. What I meant was he suffered from TB and severe vitamin deficiency. Vitamin deficiency at this level impacts the immune system severely, which become one of the reasons for TB, acc. to some scholars. I think this mistake may not be written in Bhagavata, it may be misunderstood by those people because Bhagavat and Vedic devotionals are not so easy to understand. Only a good Guru can explain Bhagavat and Veda Bhakti simply. And the point remains that which scripture is supreme, all scriptures are equal, just as Vedas simple meaning are Upanishads and As compared as Vedas the bhagavat can guide us much more batter in following the guidance of vedas. These are my own thoughts on Vedas, Bhagavat, Puranas and Upanishads.
