Hello & thanks for the Video. Would you please explain how/why you consider that the cam is wide open to the Internet (without any hacking)? I recently installed the wifi version of this modell and was not able to gain access to the stream without correct passwort. I also use it with DynDNS and simple port forwarding via my router. Thank You!

Open VLC media player, then go to Media menu, Open Network Stream. Type in "rtsp://Ip address of camera/11" Your stream will pop up. No username or password needed. I can not confirm this works with the wifi version as I only have the POE version.

Yes on the POE version RTSP Permission is checked. Still able to connect with out password.

Strange. My cam asks for password. Perhaps uncheck, reboot, check, reboot will help. Software Version: V11.1.13.5.3-20171207, Webware Version: V1.0.1

@@sm8202 you have to take off the lens. Be careful. Once you take off the front lense. Three screws hold the eye of the camera in. Slowly gently pull out the camera and you'll see the sd card slot. My camera finally quit working I had it for years

It does work with synology nas, I'm using it with synology surveillance station 9.0 I also have several amcrest cameras and some looks better than other dependes on the model

I have tried different softwares and apps for this camera but none of them seem to recognize it. I try to search for it through Lan but it doesnt work, everytime I type the UID it says it is invalid. Can anyone help?
